San Patrica County, the epicenter of current and future Port-related growth athe Coastal Bend, has only ‘one seat onthe Port Commission. Given that mare than $45 billon in Port-elated industrial evelopment has occured in San Patricio County, we have asked for amore equtable distribution of Port commission appointments. ns {As you now, we offered various alternatives in 2019 t help reach an equitable agreement, including adding nonwoting members to represent San Patricio County. The new distrbution of seats would maintain the City af Corpus (Christ's three sats, which is appropriate gven its population. The remaining population of Nueces County is comparabe to that ofan Patriclo County.
