Metlock noise barrier system offers excellent sound insulation and isolation
performance

METLOCK™             
NOISE BARRIERS
Panels are made from 1050/H14/H24 or 3105/H14/H24 grade  aluminium sheets
or thermo coated galvanized sheets confirming to IS-277(2003) standard.  
Acoustic insulation of Metlock panels are done by water repellent 100mm
thick Rockwool absorbers with density 100 kg/m3 wrapped in a layer of
protective black clothing/PET layer for water protections
Standard height of the panels are 500 mm with variable length as per

Metlock acoustical properties are complying to grade B3 to EN1793-2 for air
born sound insulation and grade A4 to EN1793-1 for snd absorption.
etlock noise barrier mechanical properties are complying to EN 1794 and  IS
875 part 3.
Metlock noise barrier panels are chemically pre treated for degreasing, dirt
and oxide removal and for conversion coating before final finish.
Metlock noise barrier panels are finally finished by polyester powder coating
of desired RAL colour.

STRUCTURAL ELEMENTS 
The main frame support structure made of standards or customized hot
rolled medium and high tensile structural steel universal beams welded at
steel base plate as per mechanical strength required at site both complying
with IS 2062 standards, vertical post shall be fixed to reinforced concrete base
with chemical anchor fasteners. Entire structure shall be hot dip galvanized
and heat spray coated to meet IS standards.

The gaps and joints between the structure and noise screens shall be fixed
with EPDM gaskets that absorb expansion and manage contraction while
