In the polyclinic waiting room

Nurse         : “Miss. Karina.”
Patient         : “Yes…”
Nurse         : “I check blood pressure, pulse, and body temperature first.”
(while holding, measuring the pulse, and measuring body temperature)
Patient         : “Please”
Nurse         : “Wait a minute!” (give the doctor an archive)
In the doctor's room
Nurse         : “Please enter Ms. Karina”
Patient         : “Thank you.”
                      ”Good morning, Doc.”
Doctor         : “Good morning, sit down. What's the complaint?”
Patient          : “Look, Doc, lately I feel nauseous, tired, lack of appetite, and my
stomach also feels uncomfortable.”
PF           : "He was also prone to disease lately, it seems that his body's immunity
has decreased.”
Dokter        : “Ohh ... Then let me check. " (while checking the patient's body)
After the doctor examines the patient's body
Doctor        : “You have had hepatitis before?”
Patient        : “I have, Doc.”
Doctor        : “What hepatitis do you have??”
Patient         : “I have had hepatitis B.”
PF               : “So what, Doc?”
Doctor       : “According to my temporary diagnosis, it looks like you have cirrhosis of
the liver.”
PF               : “Is this dangerous?”
Doctor        : “ In my opinion this is still the initial stage, but this is still my
presumption. To be more convincing, we better have a lab check.”

Doctor        : “I will briefly write the reference first.”
“Give this to the lab clerk, when you're done give it to me again.”
In the laboratory room
LS               : “Is there anything I can help?”
Patient          : “Yes sir, I want to check the lab, this is a referral from the doctor.”
LS             : “Oh, then you will be tested for complete blood, widal blood, and urine. "
(while taking the patient's blood, after that the officer tells the patient to take urine in
the washroom)

Patient          : “Karina.”
LS               : “Wait one hour.”
After one hour, in the lab waiting room
LS               : “Karina. Here are your lab results, please give them to the doctor.”
Patient         : “Thank you.”
Inside the doctor's room
PF                 : “Excuse me, Doc”
Doctor           : “Oh please come in. Let me see the results. " (reading while frowning)
Patient          : “So what, Doc?”
Doctor        : “According to lab results, you are positive for early stage liver
cirrhosis.”
PF                : “How come?”
Doctor         : “Maybe when your friend has hepatitis, he doesn't take care of his food
and doesn't follow a protein diet.”
Patient         : “Then how to overcome it?”
Doctor     : “The fix is to reduce salt consumption, because it can hold water in the
body and I will give medicine to restore the function of your heart and to reduce pain
in your stomach.”
PF              : “Is dangerous, Doc?”
Doctor    : “It's not dangerous right now, but I don't know yet.”
Patient         : “What side effects to me, Doc?”
Doctor       : “When it's advanced, your stomach will swell and you will vomit blood
often. But I hope that doesn't happen. I hope you always control once a month, to see
its development.”
Patient         : “Thank you, Doc. I will obey the words of the doctor.”
Doctor      : “Don't forget to take regular medication and take care of your food!”
Patient         : “All right, Doc.”
PF             : “Excuse me.”

TERJEMAHAN
Di ruang tunggu poliklinik
Suster         : “Nn. Karina.”
Pasien         : “Ya…”
Suster         : “Saya periksa tensi, denyut nadi, dan suhu tubuh terlebih dahulu.”
(sambil menensi, mengukur denyut nadi, dan mengukur suhu tubuh)
Pasien         : “Silahkan.”
Suster         : “Tunggu sebentar!” (memberikan arsip pada dokter)

Di dalam ruangan dokter

Suster         : “Silahkan masuk Nn. Karina”
Pasien         : “Terima kasih.
                      Selamat pagi, Dok.”
Dokter        : “Selamat pagi, silakan duduk. Ada keluhan apa?”
Pasien         : “Begini, Dok, akhir-akhir ini saya merasa mual, lelah, kurang nafsu
makan, dan perut saya juga terasa tidak nyaman.”

TP          : “Dia juga akhir-akhir ini mudah terserang penyakit, sepertinya imunitas

tubuhnya menurun.”
Dokter        : “Ohh… Kalau begitu mari saya periksa.” (sambil memeriksa tubuh si
pasien)

Setelah dokter memeriksa tubuh pasien

Dokter        : “Sebelumnya Anda pernah mengidap hepatitis?”
Pasien        : “Pernah, Dok.”
Dokter        : “Hepatitis apa yang Anda idap?”
Pasien         : “Saya pernah mengidap hepatitis B.”
TP               : “Memangnya kenapa, Dok?”
Dokter       : “Menurut diagnosa sementara saya, sepertinya Anda terkena sirosis hati.”
TP               : “Apakah ini berbahaya?”
Dokter      : “ Menurut saya ini masih tahap awal, tapi ini masih praduga saya. Agar
lebih meyakinkan lagi, lebih baik kita adakan periksa lab.”
Pasien         : “Ya sudah.”
Dokter        : “Sebentar saya tulis rujukannya terlebih dahulu.”
“Berikan ini ke petugas lab, bila sudah selesai berikan lagi pada saya.”
Di ruang laboratorium
PL               : “Ada yang bisa saya bantu?”
Pasien         : “Iya mas, saya mau periksa lab, ini rujukan dari dokter.”
PL             : “Oh kalau begitu Anda akan diperiksa darah lengkap, widal, dan urin.”
(sambil mengambil darah pasien, setelah itu petugas menyuruh pasien untuk
mengambil urin di toilet)
PL               : “Atas nama siapa?”
Pasien         : “Karina.”
PL               : “Tunggu satu jam ya.”

Setelah satu jam, di ruang tunggu lab

PL               : “Karina. Ini hasil lab Anda, silahkan berikan pada dokter.”
Pasien         : “Terima kasih ya.”

Di dalam ruang dokter

TP                 : “Permisi, Dok”
Dokter      : “Oh silahkan masuk. Mari saya lihat hasilnya.” (membaca sambil
mengerutkan dahi)
Pasien          : “Jadi bagaimana, Dok?”
Dokter         : “Menurut hasil lab, Anda positif mengidap sirosis hati tahap awal.”
TP                : “Kok bisa?”
Dokter        : “Mungkin ketika teman Anda mengidap hepatitis, dia tidak menjaga
makanannya dan tidak menjalankan diet protein.”
Pasien         : “Terus bagaimana cara mengatasinya?”
Dokter     : “Cara mengatasinya adalah dengan mengurangi konsumsi garam, karena
dapat menahan air dalam tubuh dan saya akan memberikan obat untuk
mengembalikan fungsi hati Anda dan untuk mengurangi sakit pada perut Anda.”
TP               : “Apakah berbahaya, Dok?”
Dokter    : “Untuk sekarang belum berbahaya, tapi saya belum tahu untuk
selanjutnya.”
Pasien         : “Efek samping ke saya apa, Dok?”
Dokter       : “Bila sudah stadium lanjut, perut Anda akan membuncit dan Anda akan
sering muntah darah. Tapi saya berharap itu tidak terjadi. Saya harap Anda selalu
control sebulan sekali, untuk melihat perkembangannya.”
Pasien         : “Terima kasih, Dok. Saya akan menuruti kata-kata dokter.”
Dokter        : “Jangan lupa minum obat yang teratur dan jaga makanannya!”
Pasien         : “Baik, Dok.”
