Description: SIMON is a transformation project in which excel based reports are

transformed few of these excel reports into Microstrategy reports and delivered to the field
through Mobile App. Because the field users carry only IPads whenever they go to
advertize/interact any HCPs (Doctors/Physicians/Nurses), so we have created IPAD based
dashboards.

legislation, CMS implemented the National Data Warehouse (NDW) to serve as the central
repository for capturing, aggregating and analyzing information related to the beneficiary
experience with Medicare. The data stored in NDW is used to monitor, forecast, trend,
analyze and report on the performance of the Beneficiary Contact Centers (BCC) and all
channels of communication that are available to the beneficiary.

Description: “Customer Connect” is one of a very critical initiative taken by Avon to
connect the stranded customers to one of the nearest representative of Avon. The objective
of this project is to make sure that customers who are already doing business with Avon
through the representatives do not stop doing their business when any representative is
dismissed or when the representative opts out of Avon business or changes location. The
“Customer Connect” initiative addresses such business loss by building a system that helps
customers remain in touch with Avon through new representatives. To achieve that Avon
is building a data warehouse containing Customer Connection, Representative, Sales and
Leadership information that will be required for reporting the Customer Connect KPIs.
Various phases that will be involved in this project includes gathering requirements, design
documentation for both ETL and Reporting, development, unit testing, support during user
acceptance testing and production deployment.

The project is going to be first implemented for US and so the data would come from 2
sources viz., US FSR and US eODS. The former one a mainframes system would have the
sales, representative and other crucial information while the later will have all the
eCustomer and eRepresentative information along with sales placed through internet.
Development of both ETL and Reporting is to be done using Oracle 10g SQL, PLSQL, Java
API (for excel report generation) and Microstrategy 8 for user defined reports.
