3-1 SPINDLE MOTOR _ REPLACEMENT (Referencial Time : 20 min.)

1 Take off the SPINDLE MOTOR COVER.

2 Take off the MOTOR PULLEY COVER together with the Screw
SPINDLE COVER after disconnecting the cable from the
SPINDLECOVERSENSOR.

3 Disconnect the wires with Black and White Connectors from


the SPINDLE MOTOR and remove the STAY. STAY

4 Loosen the screws fixing the MOTER and the screw on the
left side of the MOTOR to loosen the belt tension.
Then, remove the SPINDLE BELT and the MOTOR PULLEY.

5 Take off the SPINDLE MOTOR from the machine. SPINDLE MOTOR

It is not necessary to remove the SPINDLE


MOTOR SLIDER.

6 Fix the new SPINDLE MOTOR.

7 Fix the MOTOR PULLEY by aligning the top end of the


MOTOR SHAFT to the bottom surface of the PULLEY.

8 Perform the following adjustments.


1. SPINDLE BELT TENSION ADJUSTMENT
(when using the High Torque Spindle)

3-2 X BALL THREAD _ REPLACEMENT (Referencial Time : 45 min.)

1 Move the Z UNIT to the center and take off the X Z UNIT
BELLOWS COVER.

2 Detach the FLEXIBLE TUBE from the CLAMP and take off TOP COVER

5 Remove the screws for fixing the X MOTOR.

6 Loosen the 1 screw at the right side of the COUPLING and X LIMIT CABLE COUPLING
take off the X MOTOR together with the COUPLING.
Then, disconnect the X LIMIT CABLE to take off the
MOTOR.

7 Hold the D-Cut part of the X BALL THREAD with a FINE U-NUT TOOL

10mm Spanner and remove the FINE U-NUT using the (ST-039)

9 Move the Z BASE ASSEMBLY to the left and remove the X Screw X BALL THREAD

12 Hold the D-cut part of the X BALL THREAD with a 10mm FINE U-NUT TOOL X BALL THREAD
Spanner and tighten the FINE U-NUT with a FINE U-NUT (ST-039)

Be careful not to make scratches on the X BALL

Then, loosen the screws for the HOUSING SUPPORT.

tighten the screws for the HOUSING SUPPORT.

16 Connect the X LIMIT CABLE and fix the X MOTOR to the X LIMIT CABLE COUPLING
BASE together with the COUPLING.

Be careful not to pinch the X LIMIT CABLE

21 Select [X-Axis] in the [LOAD] menu and change the


parameter to [150]. Then, press the [ENTER] key. Check LOAD

1 Move the T SLOT TABLE to the front and take it off from
the machine.

13 Move the Y SLIDER ASSEMBLY to the rear end and tighten Y SLIDER ASSEMBLY

21 Change the parameter to [-150] and press the [ENTER] key.


Make sure that the Y Axis moves to the rear end from the
front end.

If the Y Axis stops moving before reaching to each end, Y-LOAD Start ENTER
loosen the screws for fixing the Y BALL THREAD and the -150 Stop EXIT
HOUSING SUPPORT and perform 12 to 14 again. [ENTER]

1 Move t the T SLOT TABLE to the front end.

5 Loosen the screws fixing the MOTER and the screw on the
left side of the MOTOR to loosen the belt tension.
Then, remove the SPINDLE BELT and the MOTOR PULLEY.

29 Turn on the power while pressing the [ ], [ ] and [ ] [ ],[ ],[ ] + POWER ON

Check and make sure that the Z AXIS moves to the highest

If the Z AXIS stops moving, check and make sure that the Z Z-LOAD Start ENTER

BRAKE is not making contact with a PULLEY by
performing the LOAD CHECK after removing it from the [ENTER]
machine as 9 .
If the Z BRAKE is making contact, perform the [4-5 Z AXIS
BRAKEADJUSTMENT].
If not, loose the screws for the Z BALL THREAD and the
REVISED 1 HOUSING SUPPORT and perform 19 to 21 again.
In case of using the HIGH TORQUE SPINDLE, adjust the SPINDLE MOTOR BASE

Put the scale on the center of the MOTOR PULLEY and measure
the gap at A and B using the caliper.
If the difference of A and B is more than 0.35mm, fix the SPINDLE
MOTOR BASE again by returning to 27 .

3-5 X LM GUIDE _ REPLACEMENT (Referencial Time : 45 min.)

NOTES
1. LM GUIDE has the direction for fixing. Bottom side of the LM GUIDE has the line that indicates its
direction and the side plane of the bottom part will be standard plane.
Push the standard plane of the LM GUIDE against the standard plane of the machine when fixing the LM
GUIDE.

Align the pin on the back of the SPINDLE UNIT with the
