ACKNOWLEDGMENT
This project, like so many others, is the product of team of people working behind the
scenes. The knowledge and satisfaction accompanies a successful completion of a
project is hard to describe.
Our team members are thankful to Prof.Rashmi rao for providing lab
facilities and to Prof. Nalini.R who has given needed guidance and all moral support
to complete our project successfully.
We also thank our parents & others giving us the help & the confidence to
carry out our project.

INTRODUCTION
Traveling is a part and parcel of life, there are many outlets offering us to travel
different destinations that we required. One such well Known outlet is the "SUPER
MARKET MANAGEMENT" which serves best services for us to travel all around India and
also some other countries at attractive ticket fares.
The "SUPER MARKET MANAGEMENT" at present maintained manually due to which they
are facing tremendous pressure for that day work. This project helps more features in
reservation. Now a day's reservation are booking tickets is not so easy and there is no
convenient way. The system manually maintained as given below.
Our project is made on airway reservation system. The current system manually
maintains different files for all the different types of transaction that takes place. Our
project on reservation solves some of the problems. All the data received from the user
is made store in files and we have also option to retrieve the records from files .We
have made us of VB-6.0 to retrieve the data from the user. We have allowed to enter
all the entries and stored it as permanent. i.e some of the features are like the
customers can know the plane number, departure timing, arrival timing, the
cancellation of tickets etc. All the above services provided by 'SUPER MARKET
MANAGEMENT" to us is maintained manually which tends to time consuming and error
prone.
Due to these drawbacks our project team decided to overcome these drawbacks by
computerizing the current system. The main goal of our team is to eliminate the
drawbacks and to provide user-friendly interaction between the user and system. In
order to provide better service to the customers. All the above services provide best
services to the customers and also help in increasing the infrastructure and popularity
and the "SUPER MARKET MANAGEMENT".
Therefore the computerized system has a lot of advantages over that of the manual
system.

BACKEND : MS ACCESS 7.0
Visual Basic is quickest and easiest way to create powerful application for
Microsoft operating systems. The Visual Basic programming system allows to create
robust and useful applications that fully make use of the GRAPHICAL USER
INTERFACE (GUI). The VISUAL BASIC programming language is a descendent
of BASIC language. As its name suggests, is big portion of the programming with
VISUAL BASIC is accomplished visually this means that during design time, we are
able to see how a program will look during design. This is a great advantage over other
programming languages because we are also able to change and experiment with our
design until we are satisfied with colors, sizes, images that are indicated in our
program.
In VISUAL BASIC the “VISUAL” part to the methods used to create graphical
user interface (GUI). Rather than writing numerous lines of code to describe the
appearance and location of interface elements, we simply drag and drop pre built
objects and place on the screen. If we have ever used drawing program such as paint,
we already have most of the skills necessary to create an effective user interface.
In VISUAL BASIC the “BASIC” part refers to the BASIC language used by
more programmers than any other languages in the history of environment.
The process of computerization involves a front end to eliminate the manual
procedures. In the back end an on-line system is provided to enable the various
activities to be performed on a day-to-day basis.
Computing VISUAL BASIC has evolved from the original BASIC languages and now
contains several hundreds of statements, functions and keywords, many of which
relate directly to the windows GUI. Beginners can create useful application by
learning just a sew of the keywords, yet the power of this language allows all the
professionals t accomplish anything that can also be accomplished using any others
window programming language.
Whether our goal is to create a small utility for ourselves or our work group, a
large Enterprise-Wide system, or even to distributed application spanning in the glob
via Internet, although it retains much of the user-friendly, easy-to use feeling of the
earlier Basic, by it has added an immensely rich and powerful feature set with an
incredible capability for extension. It’s now certainly possible to design compile
VISUAL BASIC applications in a high structured and rigorous fashion. The characters
have helped to make VISUAL BASIC the world best selling programming
language.

SYSTEM ANALYSIS
System analysis is a process of gathering facts concerning
the System breaking them into elements and relationship between
elements. It provides a frame work for visualizing the Organizational
and Environmental factors that operate on a System. The quality of
work performed by a machine is usually uniform, neat and more
reliable when compared to doing the same operations manually.
EXISTING SYSTEM
The Placing order details, the customer details and the
delivery details are maintained manually. The study of the existing
system revealed that the system has several drawbacks.
Drawbacks:
* The existing system has no security measure against logging in
and no checks are made for authorized users.
* The end user has to chamber a lot of command to make efficient
use of the system.
* The system does not have any descriptive reports and thus did not
help management in decision making.
* The delivery information per day is sometimes unable to find.

SYSTEM IMPLEMENTATION
The delivery report has information such as the receiving person sign
and whether the goods are delivered with good condition or not, the date
and time of delivery.
The Customer data base contains information about regular customer
details such as Customer name, address and their account details. Usually
the boutique shops may or may not have branches across the cities and
country so the branch offices profit and booking delivery details are
maintained in the different data base.
Add products: using this module we can add new stock details that are
available in showroom.
Adding customer details: We can add new customers details and personal
details for further contact and updating new products details to them.
Update and Delete products: Details that are out dated can be deleted from
application and we can even update new stock details with existing records in
data base.
Updating customer details: Old records that are present in database can be
deleted and even updated.
Report Generation: Details of data that are update to every module can be
printed from report generation module for analyzing daily, montly and
weekly status.
Advantages:
This software application will reduce manual work and reduce manual
power.
Data is secured and no chance of losing data security algorithm is used
for password security.
Provide solution for analyzing Billing details for daily, montly, year sales.

CONCLUSION:
The software has been designed, and implemented with its ability to provide
various and processing it includes interactive GUI for the user in order to guide
them in such a way to use the software properly. The system would hold good
flexibility for future enhancements.
