1. Job Overview
Briefly summarise the job’s primary purpose (why the job exists).

 Working in the AFI (Amcor Flexibles Indonesia) as country finance function to support financial management
reporting and analytical requirement.
 Responsible for leading the team to handle the financial accounting closing activities and the group consolidation.
 Responsible for overseeing and ensuring the smooth running of the operations in the areas of the asset
management, account payable and taxation matter.
 Be the key reference point for all process improvement and software implementation activities, and work closely
with Finance Director and Functional Leaders to ensure continuous improvement on Business Group analytical
tools.

3. Principal Accountabilities
What are the key accountabilities and tasks for this role?

Financial Support Management reporting


 Preparation of consolidated business group financial information, and support monthly / 1H & FY closing and
reporting requirement
 Provide key analytics and insights into monthly result review, i.e. forecast-forecast variance for month/YTD/FY,
budget variance, and year-over-year variance
 Provide Monthly Management Report (MMR) to the Local and Region Senior Management
 Provide ad hoc reports, analysis, and presentation materials for key events including Quarterly Business
Reviews, Budget and other management requests as required
 Provide support to management on ad-hoc financial projects as required

Asset Management
 Manage timely execution of month-end Inventory closing activities which includes material ledger settlement,
intercompany revenue, margin & variance analysis, reconciliations activities (such as balance sheet accounts
reconciliations, shipped not billed accruals, recording of inventory in-transit and inventory-cost related

transactions as well as Balance Sheet / Profit & Loss flux analysis and reviews.
 Prepare month-end inventory reporting for validating results, variance explanations and financial statements
analysis. Where there are exceptions, investigate, communicate and provide resolutions for the root causes.
Ensure action items are communicated and followed up effectively with the relevant parties.
 Responsible for VAT reporting compliance in buy/sell countries
 Support internal and external audits. Maintain the integrity of the companies’ financial statements and
compliance with AFAP HQ’s audit and all local tax and statutory reporting requirements and integrated
compliance controls.
 Partnering Support/Process Improvement
 Partner with various Functional Leaders including Supply Chain Operations and teams to analyze end to end
financial & process impact, and recommend corrective action items.
 Partner with Teams to simplify and improve inventory reporting and processes through ERP/in-house system
 Document problem statement and value proposition for system enhancements. 

Accounts Payable

 Provide supervisory to direct reports


 Ensure that all invoices are accurately booked into the accounting system, and are supported by the required
documents
 Ensure compliance with Group’s finance and procurement policies and procedures
 Being responsible for end to end AP functions for the organization
 Monthly closing for AP, and accrual management
 Liaise with various departments internally and external parties i.e. suppliers, bankers, auditors etc, on
procurement, invoice, payment and related matters

Taxation
 Complete tax compliance responsibilities for the organisation.
 Liaise with government bodies on a consistent basis and provide accurate tax advice to your direct reports and
Functional Leaders.
 Responsible to legally minimise tax liabilities through informed application of tax laws and regulations
 Prepare and review tax calculations, estimates and reports accruals and purpose
 Partnering with country, regional and corporate finance, tax, legal business and operations terms
 Manage tax compliance, reporting, and filing works for the Group.
 Ensure timely and accurate filing of all corporate and personnel income tax and tax returns
 Establish appropriate system or processes for tax risk management for the organisation
 Act as the key point of contact and support for our local and regional taxation matters
 Manage external tax authorities and consultants
 Review current and deferred tax provision
 Provide internal tax advisory services and support on business operation matters to the Organisation
 Lead and coordinate ad-hoc tax-driven business initiatives locally or regionally

 Requires strong leadership to lead and reconcile 2 teams residing at different plants and having 2 different culture
 Ability to provide quality and accurate reporting within tied schedule

6. Qualifications/Requirements
6.1 Formal Qualifications and Experience

Knowledge and Experience


 Minimum 8 to 10 years of accounting and financial reporting.
 Strong accounting and reporting background with proven leadership record.
 Some working experience in a manufacturing environment

Education and Certifications


 Degree in Accountancy or Finance, or equivalent professional qualifications e.g. CA/CPA Degree
 Basic English language communication skills, 550 TOEIC score

 Strong problem solving / analytical skills
 Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
 Strong IT systems aptitude (Excel, PowerPoint, ERP system)
