Electromechanical vibrating feeders

Vibrating feeders offer a simple solution, when extracting silos and hoppers, assuring a uniform flow.

Driven by two unbalanced motors, URBAR made, the electro-mechanic vibrating feeders reach a flow
up to 1500 t/h. Their maxima dimensions are about 2500 x 3000 mm.

Eventually, the flow regulation can be made incorporating an electronic frequency changer.

Electromagnetic vibrating feeders

Equipped with an electromagnetic vibrator, these feeders are installed as an adjustable flow dozer.
The regulation, very simple from zero to hundred per cent, is made through an electronic control box.

The requested feeding flow for the product to be handled can be regulated automatically or manually.

The automatic regulation (through analogical inputs 0-20 mA, 4-20 mA or 0-10 V) allows a constant and
precise regulation, through a digital control system (computer), including the feeding control to
crushers, depending on the consumption.

Control can be manually made by the means of a potentiometer integrated in an analogical box,
selecting the chosen speed any time.

Besides of that, one or several feeding speeds can be pre-fixed in the control box.

The maxima dimensions for the electromagnetic feeders, hopper extractors, are 1500 mm width and
3000 mm length.

Grizzlies and scalpers

Equipped with 2 or 3 screening decks, these machines eliminate from the crushing process the sizes
that can be directly used. This way the crusher lasts longer, as there is lower load and a higher
regularity.

The driving can be made through two unbalanced motors or two electric gear vibrators, reaching a
flow up to 800 t / h, depending on the product characteristics.

The decks are installed in cascade, in order to get an efficient pre-screening. The grizzlies and the
scalpers are usually lined with non wearing plates or eventually can be supplied in non wearing steel.

Small screens

Driven with one or two electric unbalanced motors, these small screens can be open, open with
collecting hopper or air-tightened, suspended or supported.

They can be made with one or two meshes.

The screening surface can reach up to 8 m2.

Statistic screens

Driven by electric unbalanced motors, they are equipped with several decks (from 3 to 6). The sizing
is made following the probabilistic method, as more than one deck is used to get a single cut. The
finest meshes are thus protected against impacts.

The IM series screen can be made air-tightened to dust and they can incorporate circular outlets and
additional elements in order to get the right feeding of the product to be screened, according to the
installation needs.

The width of the IM screens varies from 0.5 and 3 meters, depending on the requested flows. When a
higher surface is requested, the IML version is equipped with longer meshes.

The resulting screen is a compacted machine with a reduced weight, allowing the use of more simple
and lighter structures than the necessaries to support the traditional screens.

Mechanical screens

Driven by a mechanic vibrator, they can be equipped with any mesh, in one, two or three decks.
Designed for sizes up to 500 mm and a cut between 5 and 150 mm, 1500 t/h flows can be reached.

The screening surface can reach up to 16 m2 and the meshes available are polyurethane, rubber,
cascade, grizzly type, metallic (perforated or vulcanised)… The products usually sized are coal, sand,
lime, dolomite, gravel…

In order to simplify the mounting, when used, the polyurethane panels are fixed without screws. In
some cases, the screen can be equipped with a sprinkling installation or an air-tightened cover.

Non blinding elastic mesh screens

Developed to screen even the most problematic materials, the BIVITEC® offers a superior screening
solution for Superpave sands, scrap materials, compost, incinerator ash and others. The BIVITEC’s
unique dual-vibratory screening process eliminates clogging and blinding of the screen openings to
save downtime and increase productivity.

Dual vibration from a single drive is the unique feature of the BIVITEC® Screen. Two weights, vibrating
at the same frequency, move relative to each other which tensions and relaxes the screen mats. The
linear momentum of both vibrating movements is adjustable, resulting in open screen surfaces and
optimal screening performance.

The following options are also available: single deck, double deck, rigid scalping deck,
portable/stationary units, custom sized to fit your installation…
