Preface
Halla Corporation was established in the year 1980 having its corporate head office in Seoul, Korea and
expanding its operations locally and overseas having branches in U.A.E., China, Vietnam, India, Brazil, Poland
and Representative Office in Qatar. Halla is listed on the Korean Stock Exchange.

Halla Corporation was formerly known as Halla Engineering & Construction Corporation, the name change
is being effective from 1st Oct, 2013 and implemented to reflect the Company’s global identity, positioning and
diversification of the business field without any change in details and structure of the company.

Since its conception, Halla has delivered some of the most innovative and challenging projects in the field of civil
works, including, infrastructure, roads, bridges, tunnels, harbors, airports, railways and subways and high-tech
buildings, offices, educational research facilities, hotels, commercial facilities, stations and terminals, and
manufacturing facilities.

Halla established its branch office in Abu Dhabi in the year March, 2009 as a Special Grade Contractor for
Roads and Street Contracting, Bridges, Tunnels and Interchanges contracting, Drainages Contracting, Seaports
Contracting, All kinds of Buildings and Steel Structures Contracting. Our Abu Dhabi Branch Office is certified to
the international standards of ISO 9001:2008, ISO14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001:2007.

We are currently working on ADNOC’s projects in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain and Western Region. To enhance our
capabilities locally and to ensure the successful construction and completion of project in time and on budget and
to serve our Client with world class workmanship, we have strategic tie-ups with the UAE based reliable and
capable sub contractors, suppliers and design consultants to fulfill our projects requirements to Support Design
works, to Resource Heavy Duty Plant & Equipments, Material supplies, Skilled & Unskilled Labors, if required, to
augment our existing ones on the projects.

Halla is resourced with experienced and technical expertise who has been involved with various major and
challenging infrastructure projects and have hands on experience in implementing and operating latest project
management software applications to achieve project milestone within budget & to the satisfaction of Client.
Engineering and construction technologies are being developed in-house for infrastructure works.

Currently Halla employs more than 1000 professional and technical staff worldwide with a substantial amount
readily available to transfer on any upcoming projects.
