Description: CLEMOACO project to assist the BEC per Synod 2013 direction and
spearheaded initially by Tukod and Alpha (both CLEMOACO active
members) will assist the parish in the initial 1 day BEC formation called
“Pamukaw sa Parokya”
To give to the parish members the basic and simple formation to level off their expectations of the
purpose of small groups. This is to be given before the members are assigned to their respective
neighborhood BEC small groups. To make this objective possible, the formation is designed to address
the various levels of the guest participants and their respective backgrounds as:
1. Initial formation course for those adult baptized Catholics who have not attended catechism and have
not been active in attending the Holy Eucharist. This initial formation is also called “kerygma” or re-
proclamation of the Gospel, referred after the classical Catholic formation, is followed later by
“didache” or instruction or catechism.
2. Review for those already active church goers on the foundation of their faith.
3. Basic formation for the new members of the parish and young Catholics. “kerygma” is suitable before
catechism.
4. Awareness for those who are not attending the Holy Eucharist at their parish and they are mostly
students, professionals, teachers, businessmen, military, police , elderly, and even kids.
5. Introduction among church workers and formators, an opportunity for them to learn the new
approaches to reaching and re-evangelizing nominal Catholics.
