UMEEDON KA PANKH FOUNDATION is a steady, benevolent and liberal

welfare society and the workplace given to us is likewise kind. We were
facilitated and helped by Mr. Mayank Gupta, Chief Volunteer and Miss Diksha
Rawat, Volunteer head at Umeedon ka pankh foundation Ghaziabad. We were
additionally helped by the other members also.

They were all reachable and supportive as they help us in managing the
Underprivileged Kids and direction and giving feedback on my work. Many a
times we faced various challenges regarding how to treat those Kids who very
Actually Unaware of the Indian education System.

Our Mentor were additionally understanding and they even Guided Us

sometimes that and what way we should follow to educate those kids. In any
case, I felt generally favoured to partner and work with such a significant and
exceptionally legitimate association as Umeedon Ka Pankh Foundation;
understanding its tasks and difficulties. I appreciated working with the group of
this welfare society. Shockingly, most occasions I was not alluded to as an
assistant but as a team member. This gave me a great deal of self-assurance and
presentation for another sort of social work.

I welcome the manner in which I was guided all through the temporary position
by my coaches in starting with the offered chance to grow my reasonable
information of the under privileged society. I prescribe individual fellow mates
to consider a temporary position opportunity at Umeedon Ka Pankh Foundation;
without a doubt however testing, it's fulfilling and a doorstep for future
professional success.
Chapter 1
Introduction of NGO

What is Umeedon Ka Pankh Foundation (Wings Of Hope)?

Wings mainly focus on the underprivileged segment of society and work for the
upliftment of society. Providing education to the unprivileged kids is our main
focus. We also provide the platform to the unprivileged kids to nurture their
talent by conducting various social events. We look for all around the
development of kids connecting them to the mainstream of our society.

Inequality remains one of the most challenging issues on the global human
rights agenda. It aims at achieving a society that upheld the ideals of Justice,
dignity and equality for all. Thus helping in the overall development of society.
Poverty entails more than the lack of income and productive resources to ensure
sustainable livelihoods. Its manifestations include hunger and malnutrition,
limited access to education and other basic services, social discrimination and
exclusion as well as the lack of participation in decision-making.

Various social groups bear a disproportionate burden of poverty. Our primary

objective is the overall development of various under privileged areas of a city
and villages so as to eradicate the root cause of every economic problem i.e.
Poverty. It is known that beggary is a multi-factorial problem and, therefore, all
the factors involved must be thoroughly understood for a tangible solution. We
are working in eradicating beggary and motivating them towards education.

About a billion people live in precarious conditions in slum areas around the
world – about a third of the urban population of the developing world. Our aim
is reaching the talents in slums by providing them with resources to give them
the right path and right direction. We are working on strengthening the already
existing primary schools in order to fill the gap between children of the same
standard studying in primary and public schools. We focus on the admission of
students under the RTE act. We mainly focus on providing the platform so that
the laws and resources available for these children can be availed by them. We
focus on imparting quality education along with manners, health and hygiene,
and technical awareness.

To create a hub where the unprivileged kids get a chance not only to showcase
their talent in studies but also in extracurricular activities. Initiate projects under
social entrepreneurship to create job opportunities for slum dwellers and peoples
from backward areas.

List Of Various CSR Initiatives In The Last Three Years

The idea of forming a social organisation came up during a charity drive. When
we went for a charity drive in slums, we were able to address problems related
to education in slums. The major points which were a major concern were:
1. Lack of awareness of Importance of education.
2. Lack of awareness of hygiene.
3. Lack of awareness of Right to Education Act.
4. Lack of interest and Enthusiasm in kids regarding Education.
5. Lack of a proper platform for kids to showcase their talents.

LEARNING AND CONTRIBUTION

I am very glad to have done my internship at UMEEDON KA PANKH

FOUNDATION NGO (Ghaziabad); it has given me a first-hand experience with
the Non-Governmental Organization. The way they manage their operations
which turned out to be quite diverse from what I had on my mind, especially the
working environment, which I think will be a valuable asset for my future work
life. I gained practical skills and knowledge, gave me enough background to
contribute to the achievement of UMEEDON KA PANKH FOUNDATION
NGO’s Vision in future, and the quality of work in developing countries, which
definitely made me enjoy my work every hour.

SUGGESTION:-
I firmly accept that the group of the NGO is surprising , all they need is
progressively manual power to do exercises and mindfulness on a major level as
they(NGO individuals) are clear with their considerations as what ought to be
done and how. They can change the situation of the city whenever joined by
enormous number of man power.

Chapter-3 Designing A CSR Model

CSR Initiative Which Your College Can Pursue Without

Academic Loss: -
There is no dearth of youthful ability in India, anyway because of need if
financial support, lakhs of understudies can't seek after their advantage and
ability. They drop-out from formal education system because of fluctuated
reasons. These grant programs have earned a positive reaction from all
education partners that is understudies, guardians, educators, organizations,
education serve and so on.

CSR Education: why do we need corporate scholarships?

Empowerment of education: organizations these days choose scholarships as
their CSR education initiatives to promote education among underprivileged
children, who cannot afford to pursue formal education.
Loyal employees: In the long run, the supported students can be nurtured to
become an asset for the organization. They can be absorbed within organization
with employment and be trusted to work efficiently, eventually building a better
future for them.

CSR Champion in Your Organization in Future?

Yes, I would like to be a CSR champion in your organization in future because
our CSR policy is at the core of our daily operations and guides our future
progress. We benefit from these efforts in a number of ways. Our clients want to
work with us because we are focused on a healthier and more productive world.
Our development clients can rely on us to develop their projects to the highest
standards of energy efficiency and occupant health, while creating an
architecturally resonant project that reflects our mission and vision. Of course
we save money by operating more efficiently which is a direct benefit of our
CSR efforts, however the true value we receive from our ongoing initiatives is
that of social good will- we believe that setting a good example is the greatest
benefit in that we inspire other organizations, companies and individuals to ‘up
their game’ when it comes to social and environmental responsibility, which in
turn encourages further inspiration in the community leading to a more
enlightened perspective on how to run ones business or lead one’s life.
