A Detailed Lesson Plan in English GRADE 10

I. Objectives

At the end of the session the students will be able to;

a. Define what is communication

b. Develop student’s creativity
c. Be able to differ the verbal and non-verbal communication

II. Subject matter

Topic: introduction to communication

References: speech communication workbook
Materials used: manila paper, pentelpen, double sided tape.
Approach: communicative approach, community language approach and direct approach.

B. Activity
 Before we start our lesson I am going
to give you an activity, this won’t
take long.

what you are going to do is to act
something with this thing, now
 what’s the twist? I want you to think
outside the box, I want you to make
use of your creativity.

 Who wants to go first?  ( students are anxious at this time)

 Okay, I’m going to give you 30
