Cable connections
The drive must be disconnected from the input power during
installation. If the drive is already connected to the input power,
disconnect the input power and wait for 5 min.

1. Prepare the gland box

2. Floating network: Disconnect RFI filter
3. Connect the supply cable
4. Check the insulation resistance level of motor and motor cable
5. Connect the motor cable
6. Install conduit/gland box and tighten the cable clamps.

Insulation resistance measurement

Do not make any voltage withstand or insulation resistance tests on any part of the drive!

Before motor cable connections are made, check the insulation

resistance of the motor and motor cable.

1. The motor cable must be disconnected from drive output terminals

U2,V2 and W2.

2. Insulation resistance of the motor

cable and motor between each phase
and the Protective Earth (PE) must be
higher than 1 MΩ at 1 kV DC.

Motor cable connection

„ Symmetrical 3-conductor cable with a concentric PE conductor
(or a 4-conductor cable with a concentric shield)
1. Strip the sheathing and twist the screen into a pig-tail.
2. Route the cable through the clamp.
3. Connect the wires to the terminals
