Emerging Technology Project Plan

Our company, Freestyle Machine, Inc., provides managed service support to customers who buy their
freestyle machines from us. Freestyle machines are machines that allow end users to choose their
flavored beverage (Coke, Sprite, water, Pepsi, etc.), which is then individually dispensed. You will often
find freestyle machines in service venues like hospitals, restaurants, and cruise ships. Our purpose is to
develop an IoT (Internet of Things) platform for the management of Netcomm modems deployed in the
field for the connectivity of Freestyle machines. 

During video conferences and communications through Slack we decided to use Teamweek as our
project management software, which offers the following: Free with unlimited time and unlimited
projects for up to five users, integration with Slack, a user-friendly interface, and easy account setup.
Carefully reviewing the requirements for the executive summary and video presentation for Project 2a
and 2b, we discussed each required task and milestone and determined the order in which each task
should be completed.  We discussed and agreed on which member(s) of the team is best suited for each
required task as well as their roles within the group. In addition to our individual tasks, Sean organizes
the meetings and keeps them on-track, Ashley provides graphic and writing expertise, Jay explains the
technical aspects of our new platform and how it affects our business, Adina coordinates assignments
and edits our plans, and Jeff ensures the project is fully integrated.
