Description of what happened Abdul was hit by a moving dumper truck which
was carrying earth on the construction site in
Main Road. The truck driver did not see Abdul,
who had entered the site. Jolan Balog, Site
Foreman, saw the accident and called an
ambulance. Jolan and two other workers stayed
with abdul until the ambulance arrived. At
hospital, Abdul was X-rayed and found to have a
broken leg and bruised arms.

 Form of the passive: be + past participle (V3)
 In the passive, the object of an active verb becomes the subject of the passive verb
 Only transitive verbs (verbs that are followed by an object) are used in the passive.
