 Healthcare Administrator, October 2005 to August 2006, Grace Hospital, Nigeria.
Trained in Vancouver, Canada to be part of management team and administratively
lead hospital operations by being responsible for solidifying organizational hierarchy,
developing a health care service delivery model, ensuring accountability of finances,
increasing cost effectiveness of programs, human resource management, project
management, medical records and statistics, and IT support. After training, Nigerian
visa application was denied as the hospital was not granted the necessary Nigerian
immigration allowable quota for Healthcare Administrator positions.
 Research author, Summer 2005, Physicians for Human Rights, Washington, D.C.
Performed extensive research for a white paper on HIV prevention measures among
injecting drug users in Second Wave countries.
 International Health Intern, spring 2005, American Public Health Association and
World Federation of Public Health Associations in Washington, D.C. Organized
forums on international health issues, responsible for database analysis, member
relations, conference support, financial records and communication with the WHO,
UNICEF and other UN agencies.
 Volunteer Project Manager, October to December 2002 and May to August 2004,
Project Grace International, Yunnan, China. Responsible for managing a village doctor
training class for the China Primary Health Care Foundation, arranged logistics and
technical support at a four-day international conference, was in-charge of pre- and
postoperative care of patients, and coordinated various medical and technical projects
in remote leprosy villages. Also, participated in exploratory community development
talks with health authorities in Xinjiang province, attended eye surgery workshops, and
rendered computer assistance. Successfully established an English training center for
medical professionals in Kunming City; selected curriculum and provided logistics
