Memory and Concentration

In hypnosis you can alter your perception of time - five minutes can seem like two hours and a
whole day can go by within just a few minutes - just like when you're asleep - you can lose track of
time as you drift from dream to dream.  And you can learn many things in a short space of time - or
you can spend several hours and learn nothing at all.  All that matters is that you decide how
quickly and easily you want to learn, because subconscious learning can remain in your mind for
many years - a whole lifetime can be spent remembering things you don't need to know.  And you
know far more than you think you know.  Your memory and learning can be condensed into a very
intensive space and time and your knowledge and understand will be available for use, whenever
it's needed.

You can hear sounds without consciously listening and these sounds can be recorded in that
wonderful memory of yours. You can see images in your mind without consciously watching those
things that are registering now in your subconscious mind. You can touch and feel and remember
those things that you touched and felt - and it can feel wonderful to you, to be so relaxed, knowing
that deep down those feelings will always be with you.

When you read, how many words do you remember?  But the essence of your learning is clear in
your mind, that wonderful subconscious mind of yours. You can experience the pleasure of
allowing yourself to go deeper and deeper into hypnosis, knowing that the memory of this
wonderful feeling can remain with you, as long as you wish.  For it isn't important to remember it
right now, what matters to you is that you remember everything you need to remember at
appropriate times in your life.

And everything you've ever seen or heard of tasted or touched or smelled is recorded there in your
wonderful subconscious mind.  You know what it's like to be transported back in time by a familiar
smell or a feeling that is stirred from deep within. You can quietly and calmly remind your
subconscious mind that whenever you study, your mind is like an instant camera, absorbing and
retaining on film all the material that you are studying.  Everything you see, you remember,
everything you feel, you remember, everything you touch, you remember, everything you feel, you
can remember - or you can choose to forget - the things you don't need to remember.  And keep the
knowledge within you, of what you need.

Memory and Concentration Script 1

Your inner mind records and stores all the information, like a video or a camera - available there
just when you need it.  You are becoming relaxed and calm.  You are feeling totally and completely
at peace.  Your mind is focused and alert.  You find it so easy to retain all the information that is
necessary for you, and to forget irrelevant, nonsensical things.  Your mind is receptive and eager to
learn.  All you need to do is to remind yourself, 'everything I've ever learned or read or smelled or
seen or touched is recorded in my wonderful subconscious mind.  Whenever I need it, it is there.
My mind records and stores, developing into a film, or available whenever I need it, just like on a
video recorder.

You have a wonderful memory. Your mind is focused and alert.  You find it so easy to remember
the things that you need to remember, and forget any irrelevant things.  Your concentration is at its
best, because of this wonderful relaxation that you are allowing yourself to drift deeper in. Your
mind is there to focus and remember.  To absorb and retain and to make available whatever you
need to remember.  Concentration strengthens your mind, relaxation eases your mind. You are alert
and ready to learn, ready to exercise your mind and your memory and your concentration.

When you focus your mind you strengthen your memory.  You remember everything you need to
remember, you trust in the power of your wonderful subconscious mind.  Memory and
concentration intensify your capacity to store all those wonderful subconscious learning’s.  All you
need to do is relax, and let go.  And let those learning’s be a wonderful part of you.

In a moment I'll count from one to five, and as I reach five you'll find yourself wide awake.
