interfaces.

Project Description: The Inbound and Outbound Shipment Optimization project enhances the
TMS Optimization process so that both the Inbound and Outbound
shipment schedule details are available in one location. The consolidation
will enable Inbound and Outbound teams to have visibility to shipments
and Purchase Orders in the backhaul lanes. This will allow the efficient
routing and delivery of shipments based on the end-to-end delivery
schedule.

Project Name : Shared OMS- Marketplace Phase-3

Project Description: The main source of revenue for a retail company is through fulfilling the
orders placed by its customers. Therefore a methodical and well-crafted
system needs to be present in order to manage these orders which shall be
the lifeline of the entire retail business.

The Integrated Order Management System (OMS) serves the above


mentioned purpose in the best possible way. The word “shared” means that
the same OMS is being used by multiple enhancements done on the
existing YOMS platform. The orders placed through the CSR as well as
through the online web portal are routed through the same OMS. Customer
orders can be Created, Modified and Cancelled through the same system.
Thus the shared OMS provides the business, a one point solution to its
entire customer order management needs.

Project Description: Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. (formerly branded as Wal-Mart, branded as Walmart
since 2008) (NYSE: WMT) is an American public corporation that runs a
chain of large discount department stores and a chain of membership
required warehouse stores. The purpose of the Retail Link (RL) Migration
program is to take web based applications that are currently written in
classic ASP, COM, and VB6 running on Windows 2000 servers and
migrate  them to .Net 2.0 so that they will operate on Windows 2003
servers.

Project Name : LS&Co Raymark Support

Client : Levis Strauss & Company, San Francisco, USA

Domain : Retail

Project Type: Functional/Interface testing between Raymark and SAP

Project Objective : LS&Co was replacing their legacy application (LABS) for Order
Processing & Allocation by SAP applications which was having several
interfacing with Raymark. The replacement of the legacy applications also
entailed changes in other interface applications such as EDI – GIS, Richter
Finance, etc. The objective of this project was to test all the new interfaces
between Raymark and SAP to ensure that all the functionalities were
working fine and the data flow across systems were as expected.

Project Description: LS&Co was replacing their legacy application (LABS) for Order

Project Name : LS&Co eCommerce Migration

Client : Levis Strauss & Company, San Francisco, USA

Project Type: Implementation of eCommerce functionalities in Raymark

Project Objective : LS & Co wanted to migrate their eCommerce channel of retailing from the
legacy systems to the new ERP (Raymark Xpert) they were utilizing for
retail operations for all offline channels. This needed reengineering of the
complex interfaces between the third party (GSI) service provider
managing the eCommerce channels and Raymark. The objective of this
project was to provide with the end to end testing solution and ensure that
all the eCommerce functionalities are working fine in the Raymark
application as well as the other peripheral tools and key business area
applications in the overall system landscape where changes were made to
fit in the eCommerce LOB.

Project Description: LS & Co wanted to migrate their eCommerce channel of retailing from the
legacy systems to the new ERP (Raymark Xpert) they were utilizing for

Project Name : LS & Co Raymark Testing

Client : Levis Strauss & Company, San Francisco, USA

Project Type: End to End Functional/Integration Testing

Project Objective : Levi’s Stores was using a software system from Richter for over 15 years
which was outdated and no longer supported by vendors. This project
would replace the merchandising and POS component of the Richter
system with a new software system from Raymark. The objective of the
project was to perform functional test execution on the application.

Project Description: Levi’s Stores has been using a software system from Richter for over 15
years which is outdated and no longer supported by vendors. This project
will replace the merchandising and POS component of the Richter system
with a new software system from Raymark. The new system provides
current functionality needed by the business, and it will support the
requirements for opening new stores. The financial component of Richter
will be retained for the short term, and the new Raymark system will
interface to it. In the longer term, the finance functions will be moved to
SAP when SAP is implemented for the US (expected in late 2007) at which
time the Richter finance piece will also be retired.

Project Objective : The Project Objective of “Levi Strauss & Co (LS & Co) Retail S” is to
design, develop and implement new system functionalities within the
existing scaffold of application components as well as developing and
implementing new and custom – made peripheral tools to support the
existing framework of software in line with business requirements and long
term retail strategies envisaged by Levi Strauss & Co.

Project Description: The central application package to be used in this Project is Raymark Xpert
series, which is currently the central software in LS & Co family being used
for 95% of the business operations encompassing Merchandising (Brand,
Vendor and Item Management, Pricing and Promotions, Order
Management and Fulfillment operations), Store Operations (Transfers,
Return to Vendor, Receiving Stock, Point of Sales, Staff management,
CRM) as well as Retail Accounting (Store and Sales auditing and
authorization, Invoicing and Inventory Evaluation activities). This
application also integrates all the different lines of business including
different companies and “brick and mortar” stores and e-trading.

The different testing sub projects included Average Cost testing, SAP FICO
Implementation, 64 Bit Regression testing, etc.

Project Name : LS&Co MM Project

Client : Levis Strauss & Company, San Francisco, USA

Project Type: Creation of a new Raymark instance to be rolled out in 73 new stores

Project Objective : LS&Co in US acquired 70+ new retail stores where they needed a fully
tested Raymark application to be rolled out within a period of 1.5 months.
The specialty of these stores was they did not have any brand segregation
and required a total restructuring of the Grid – Group – Product subsystems
in the Raymark application. Cognizant was entrusted with the responsibility
of preparing the Raymark instance with end to end testing ownership.

Project Description: The project involved preparation of a quintessential Raymark instance for
rolling out in the MM chain of stores that was acquired by LS&Co. It
included activities starting from Database refinement and spanning
activities like configuration changes in the Raymark application, process
solution proposals and design, setting up of 73 new stores in the system and
implementation of other system process changes. The project also included
production release of the new Raymark instance for the MM chain of stores
and post implementation stabilization support.
