Simple sentences are sentences that consist of only one clause (clauses containing
subjects and verbs and expressing complete thoughts)
- compound sentences are sentences consisting of two or more clauses combined
with conjunctions or semi-colons. Each of these clauses could form a sentence
alone.
- Complex sentences are a combination of several simplex sentences or clauses
- Compound  complex sentence are sentences consisting of three or more clauses
with two independent clauses and one dependent clause

Identify the Sentence Structure

- “I go to school”. yes, this is a sentence that is a simple sentence. because the
resolution contained in the sentence is "I" as a subject, "go to" as a verb, and
"school" as an object. Sentences are a collection of words that have meaning and
language consisting of two or more words that have definitions and final
intonation patterns.
- "Coronavirus is a deadly disease". this includes simple sentences. the type of
sentence consists of "corona virus" is the subject and "deadly disease" is a
supplementary sentence. because in that sentence only has one clause.
- "Rizal kicked the ball and hit Taufik". this includes compound sentences. because
it consists of two clauses put togethersi
- "Om Jamil screamed when he saw a ghost". this includes complex sentences.
because there is no comma in this sentence so it starts with an independent clause
- "I went to the market yesterday because my mother asked me to buy manggo so
she was very happy." this includes complex compound sentences. because this
sentence consists of three clauses, namely two independent clauses and one
dependent clause
