Preliminary Estimate framed by Executive Engineer & Senior Manager,

Mahendergarh Project Division-I, CPWD, Mahendergarh (Hr.) for the probable
cost of Rs. 22,53,700 (Rs. Twenty Two Lacs Fifty Three Thousand and
Seven Hundred Only) including 1% Consultancy fee, 5% contingencies for
obtaining the Administrative Approval & Expenditure Sanction of the
competent authority from Central University of Haryana.

History

This Preliminary Estimate amounting to Rs. 22,53,700 i/c 5% contingencies

and 1% consultancy charges has been framed to cover the probable cost of
above noted work of Central University of Haryana, Mahendergarh (Hr.).

It was recommended by thte CUH Monitoring Committee held on 09.05.2018

and minutes issued vde letter No. CUH/2018/Infra/162 dated 28.05.2018 to

construct one parking lot in front of proposed Academic Block-II. As

discussed with CUH authorities this estimate is framed for 2 Nos. parking

sheds instead of 1 No. parking shed.

Funds are required for execution of the work.

Cost and time of the project is liable to revision due to probable escalation

in cost of construction apart from reasons such as change in scope, area,

design and specifications etc. if so desired by the client at a later date. The

execution of the works will depend upon the receipt of funds well in

advance.

In the event of delay in taking over completed project & completed

components of projects independently as per phases mutually agreed with

client without waiting for the completion of the entire project, charges on

security, refinishing and recommissioning, consultancy charges etc. shall be

borne by the client.

Design & Scope :

This estimate provides for ‘Construction of Health Centre’ for Central

University of Haryana at Jant-Pali Village, Distt. Mahendergarh. This will be
part of the Central University of Haryana campus, which is spread over an
area of approximately 483 acres at Jant-Pali, Distt. Mahendergarh (Hr.).

The provision of the shed is as under:

i. C/o two Nos. small parking sheds.

ii. Painting the new sheds.

 iii. Covering the new sheds with profile sheets.

The provision consists of foillwoing:-

1. Steel work in built up section

2. P/f profile sheets.
3. Painting with synthetic enamel paint.

Specifications: The work shall be carried out as per CPWD Specification

work 2019 Vol. I & II with up to date correction slips and
manufacturer’s specifications for furniture & other non-scheduled
items.

Rates: Based on DSR-2018 and Market rates for furniture and non-
scheduled items.

Cost: Rs. 22,53,700 The cost may change due to change in market
prices.

WCE: Shall be met out of the 5% contingencies

T & P: Shall be arranged by the contractor

Method: By contract after call of tenders

Land/ Site: Available.

Time: Time schedule after receipt of A/A & E/S. 04 Months
