1 Operations
1.1 Logging in web LCT

In order to log in in the NE, we need to know which is the corresponding IP

address,
(the default one is 192.186.0.10), then preset the right ip address on the
Network interface card of th PC:
For example NE IP=10.86.43.121 mask 255.255.255.0
PC IP=10.86.43.122 mask 255.255.255.0
NOTE WELL!!
Be sure that PC IP address does not exist already in the network!!
Connect the LAN cable Between PC and SV unit and open internet
explorer.
Write in the address field : HTTP: // “NE IP ADDRESS” (1) and in the
following
Dialogue box enter User name and Password, (as default user is “srt1f” and
password is “nokiasiemens”) (2) and click OK (3)

Note well!!!
In order to change the system configuration is always necessary to follow
some particular procedure before!!
In Case of protected configuration,( N+1 or 2X(N+1)), before to make any
changing is necessary to put the protection system In OUT OF SERVICE
State (See par. 3.2), and after the changing must be set in service.
In case of removing from the configuration one MSTU Unit (Working
Channel) not only the protection system must be set in OUT OF SERVICE
but also the wished working Channel (SEE par. 3.1), and is also necessary
to removed it from the protection parameters (SEE Edit RPS Fig. 28);
After the changing the protection system must be set in service again.

Facility State:
Displays that the facility such as RPS (Radio Protection Switching), RS (Regeneration
Section), or RSPI (Radio Section Physical Interface) is in the state of IS or OOS.
RPS:
The service state for the RPS of each GP(Group) is displayed representatively in the
RPS column of the Prot CH.
A hyphen (-) is displayed in the RPS column of the Work CH all the time.
Maintenance State:
Displays that the facility such as STM1 (STM-1) channel or RSPI is in the state of IS or
OOS. Maintenance (MT) is the state of IS, and must be operated before issuing service
state change commands.
IS (In-Service):
The equipment/facility can transmit the traffic and also sends out alarm information if
generated. In this state, RPS can function normally.
OOS (Out of Service):
The equipment/facility cannot transmit the traffic and does not send out alarm
information although generated. RPS automatic/manual operations are inhibited. OOS
must be set before changing the system configuration parameters.

OOS of service state removes equipment/facility from the normal service

operation to make them un-serviceable.
Meanwhile, changing MT (Maintenance) state for status/control lifts a
safeguard for maintenance control.
MT does not affect on the traffic.
MT inhibits the service state change (IS to OOS, and vice versa).
When you change the service state, release the MT state in advance.
