ough the inittial formula tthat we wrotte was:
=(B4*B44).
This is b
because wheen we copy tthe formula ffrom one place to anoth her (F4 to F66), Excel realises that
the formmula has beeen copied 2 ccells further down and so o the reference should aalso be move ed 2 cells
further down. This is pretty inttelligent but may not always be use
eful. For exaample, if you have a
scenarioo where you have to calculate a fixeed percentagge of values (this could be very usefful when
you are designing taables with m mark‐ups etc. ), in cell F4 wwe've taken the value inn E4 and multiplied it
