Provided canoe and kayak rentals to park visitors; gave boating safety briefings to visitors
on how to operate a water vessel; operated a 14-foot patrol boat in order to supervise the
park section of the Potomac River as well as conduct water-related rescues/emergency
procedures. This position also required me to tow a trailer and conduct various
maintenance work. Worked with the summer camp staff and helped chaperone the
afternoon canoe-fishing trips for the kid’s summer camps.
