This section presents the information regarding the approaches used to analyze the data, way of

collecting information, conceptual frameworks, and method of analyzing & representing data.
Report tries to explore whether Khiards decision to introduce a new product to Singapore by
establishing a wholly owned subsidiary is a feasible choice or not and propose stratratergies,
policies and the recommendations to gain the competitive edge in the international market.
Problem was investigated from the perspective of the client (Khiards). The methods employed to
analyze & utilize the data under this report varies and differs depending on the stage of the
process. In the first part of the report it provides the details on company background and the
company’s future decision on introducing a new product to the new market & situational analysis
(SWOT) to access company’s strength, weaknesses. data to serve this purpose were collected
from primary sources using personal meeting with the management of the company, personal
emails, CRM software of the company and digital platforms.

Secondary discussion proceeded to identify the suitable tools and frameworks to analysis of the
business environment. In order to provide a detailed study of Macro environment in Singapore &
to examine the opportunities & threats theoretical frameworks such as PESTLE analysis,
Michael porters five forces have been employed. Additionally, Michael porter value chain &
Marketing Mix have performed to examine how company can add value in each business activity
& process to gain competitive advantage. Finally, to identify the risks company is exposed to
risk assessment has been employed using risk identification techniques such as checklist,
documentation review & past experience (Lester, 2007; and Kishan et al., 2014)

Theoretical framework is achieved through personal study of existing bibliography and at the
same time evaluating the study case. Data on such were collected from secondary sources such
as textbook information, academic journals, magazines, newspapers, corporate articles, previous
research papers, electronic booklets, private and public websites, TV programs , governmental
documents of Singapore as well as data from various organizations using their websites.the aim
was to provide an in-depth analysis of the field rather than providing a descriptive overview.
Further, some reports published by government of Singapore & research papers which were
presented in the bibliography were used to identify the current situation of the country to access
future goals and strategies of Khiards to provide a clear insight & to receive broader
understanding and the application of the models.
The data were collected during the third week of March 2020 from the respective websites of the
management institutions as well as using Google scholar search facility for 2014,2015, 2016,
2017, 2018 & 2019 using Custom range search facility of Google scholar website -
https://scholar.google.co.in/. All the materials used in this study are recent materials, the oldest
one date back to 2014. Care is taken to avoid mix of data of different authors of same name.
Publication data of six years is effectively collected for study and comparison.
