The learners modifies physical activity program for the family/school peers to achieve
fitness.

I - OBJECTIVES:
At the end of the lesson the students are expected to:
A. Identify the basic movements in a folk dance.
B. Enumerate the basic steps in folk dance which learners need to produce a
folkdance.
C. Value folk dances in enhancing one’s fitness and promoting Filipino culture.

III - PROCEDURE:
A. Preparatory Activities
Checking of attendance
Review of the previous lesson. (tictac toe)
B. Motivation:
Examining pictures of people who are dancing then asking the learners what it
implies.
C. Discussion:
1. Using a Venn diagram, discuss the comparison of Folk Dance and Traditional
Dance.
D. Application:
This time the teachers will group the learners to practice and perform the basic
steps in folk dance. Criteria will be used to evaluate the performances.
