When building a guest house, the main idea is to provide guests with the opportunity to stay, rest and
recreate with a higher level of comfort through efficient and competitive provision of tourist services -
cycling,hikings, trips, entertainment, cultural and educational events, balneological services , ski
school. They are tailored to customers’ preferences and opportunities

Nowadays, the economic situation is very difficult. Tourism is one of the most important industries in
theregion .At present, reduced purchasing power is observed, both for our home tourists and for
foreigners.
The current business plan looks at completion and managementof Damyanovi’s Guest House. It looks
at the quality and location of the house, the number and structure of the staff, customer recruitment,
pricing policy and cycling tourism, which is an innovation in Dobrinishte and the surrounding area.
The guest house “ Damyanovi” has rooms, suites, a tavern, a summer garden and a car-park.
The business idea is to extend the activity of Damianovi’sGuest House – the town of
Dobrinishte.Thanks to our new additional service the guest house will work all year round, not only
during the winter and summer season. The potential clients of our services will be the active
Bulgarian and foreign tourists, mountain lovers who can enjoy the beautiful Pirin mountain, lovers of
rock climbing in the summer, ski lovers, adrenaline lovers, young people, families with children ,
families without children and others. They can also try traditional and local dishes.

My idea is to buy 40 different models of bicycles so that tourists can visit the sights around
Dobrinishte and the area. This is an additional service with which our guests will enjoy the beautiful
scenery of the Pirinmountain, climb up the steep mountain roads or ride along the eco paths. Cycling is
one of the types of tourism that can be successfully developed in our area. Cycling is one of the most
enjoyable ways to maintain good shape and health. Although some people associate bicycle riding
only with their childhood, it plays an important role in the health and physical activity of people. It is
both an effective and healthy way of traveling and can be practiced by almost everyone. Cycling has a
positive impact on the environment.
The goals of the business plan are:

The house is situated in the town of Dobrinishte – one of the most beautiful resorts in Bulgaria.

conditions for ski tourism for its guest, spa with hot mineral springs, unforgettable rest days
and pleasant experience. In the local surrounding of the family house you will feel the home
comfort and warmth typical for the region. Our aim is to provide good conditions for the
tourists and walks by bikes that will become an unforgettable memory. We offer rooms for
short-termed stay with high service quality of the ,, business class,, tourists , individual and
organized tourists, VIP guests. The main tourist product is connected above all with
accommodation , transfer and providing food.

The rooms are fitted with a cable TV , Wi FI, a private bathroom, a balcony with an amazing
view to the Pirin mountain and central heating.The apartments consist of two rooms –a living
room and a bedroom, a private bathroom, balcony with amazing view to the Pirinmountain,
cable TV, internet and local heating. If necessary, the sofa can bestretched .

The delicious specialties offered in the tavern for breakfast, lunch and dinner will make you
feel the spirit of the mountain.
Guests who do not travel by cars,the transfer to the guest houseissettled by us. For those who
use their own transport, there is a parking lot.

The main competitive advantage is our innovative additional service - bicycles. They are
suitable for romantic picnics, cycling excursions in eco and bicycle lanes and adrenaline
risingalong mountain routes. Cycling is one of the most enjoyable ways to maintain good shape
health.

Why will we succeed?

I think we will succeed because cycling tourism is an innovation for Dobrinishte. What’s more
there is a conscious necessity at an European and national level of the development of cycling
tourism- the EC is developing a large-scale project to stimulate cycling tourism in some
European countries by creating a cycling route EuroVelo 13-,, The iron curtain way“ .
The new cycling route will be 6592 km long and starts from the Barents Sea and reaches the
Black Sea coast. It will pass through 12 EU countries, including Serbia and Bulgaria, where a
total of about 2,000 km in the Southeastern part of the Balkans (StrategIC) must be traveled.

Our goal is to gain prominence among a wide range of consumers and to hold stable market
positions that will result in successful business expense coverage. Profit is always done
correctly.
 The location of the house provides excellent conditions for the development of mountain and
alternative tourism because it offers excellent natural and anthropogenic conditions. In
addition, we can say that the area is not heavily built.

My Business plan is for opening of a company for Carving products in my town
Razlog,Bulgaria. I want from it to satisfy our future customers’ needs and wishes. Via
presentationof high quality services at affordable prices. The company is going to
work yearly, mainly for hotels and restaurants, for banquets and weddings’ organizers
and for clients with good financial capabilities.It will be part of the tourist and culinary
atmosphere of my region.Initially I and two other people will work there .My idea is
for renting ot buying a premises and the necessary about the activity equipment. Our
advantage is that at the moment there are not any working companies with the same
activity.Funding will be taken by me and my parents, and the rest will be through loans
from banks to create small and medium-sized businesses.The costs are worth 20,000
lv.I count that very quickly I will make a profit and reimburse the costs for a period of
6 months.The essence of Carving mastery is that it is the poetry of food.It is an ancient
art through which is attaching various forms of the food.It also forms the overall
appearance of the dish.Its origin is controversial,but it is disseminated and very
popular all around the world.Interestingly, with its innovation and style,it becomes an
inspiration for many books, magazines, forums and competitions.
Usually the products are birds or flowers,butthe only limitation is the imagination
of the carving artist.The Carving art is a decoration ofboth on toppings and on
individual dishes.The business idea is original because the thread is extremely labor-

The idea of this business plan is creating one great and different place in Razlog to enjoy, relax or celebrate
something while consuming the perfect dish. This new tavern ,which offers Bulgarian dishes mostly, will be
located at the center of the town. Our purpose is to attract more people to visit the restaurant and the town,
of course.
Our national-style restaurant is different from the others in the town because it has bigger size which means
that people can celebrate something very special with a lot of guests. And the other thing is that there is very
interesting entertainment – every evening there will be musicians, folk dance ensambles and other
entertainment. This is a noisy place with Bulgarian music and the party is guaranteed.
This tavern is suitable for meetings with friends as well as for weddings, school balls or banquets. Many
tourists from abroad can feel the classical Bulgarian atmosphere because of the rustic décor, the fireplace that
gives the feeling of warmth and coziness. They can experience the authetntic then they will get acquainted
with our lifestyle.
If we want to realize and develop this idea, first we have to focus on some goals in the near future.
Short-term goals – covering the costs,  improving the skills of the employees and their attitudes, attracting
tourists from Bulgaria and abroad, getting popular, contracting an advertising consultant.
Medium-term goals- building the company's name recognition within the community, researching and
designing a new advertising campaign that highlights the unique points about the business or products.
Long-term goals - double revenue by the end of the current fiscal year, receiving at least 95 percent positive
customer feedback regarding the service, developing and adding new products, motivating the staff, achieving

Our national-style restaurant gives people of all ages the opportunity to try something new – delicious
Bulgarian cuisine, high-quality food and reasonable prices. There are many options to choose from the menu
which has an attractive design. Mostly, we offer meat meals and different salads but there are some
vegetarian foods, too.

analysis.
The restaurant offers high-quality products, tasty food and good service. Also, it is located in a town which is
not big and crowded, so it is at the perfect place near the mountain. Other strength is that our staff is qualified
and friendly and everyone will be satisfied.
But we have some weaknesses. For example – we have not enough entertainment for children; there is no
marketing specialists; there is lack of advertising.
An opportunity of growth is if we start making money by delivering services,  take-out or setting up a drive-
through to meet the needs of people. Selling some of your restaurant products, such as salad dressings or
baked goods, for people to buy and take home represents an opportunity. 
A threat to our business is competing restaurants located nearby because they also offer this kind of dishes
from Bulgarian style. The other thing is that the capacity of the tavern is big and it may be not suitable for
people who are with small company for lunch.
In Razlog there are a lot of restaurants but not all of them offer this kind of food. The only rival is ,,Murata’’
Restaurant because it has big size and it is suitable for weddings and other special occasions. It has an
advantage because it’s already popular but we believe that we can make our restaurant more visited.
The decision for a legal form is Limited Liability Company (LTD) with two owners.
The sources of funding are own financial assets and loan from a bank. We will start with 30 000lv. and we will
use 150 000lv. loans.
We will need a manager, chef, cooks, waiters, security and chambermaid. Our staff will be total of 15 workers.
Their salaries per year are total of 55 800lv.
,,Bulgarian Spring’’ tavern is suitable for satisfying people’s needs. Everyone loves the recipes from
grandmother’s kitchen so there will be no one who won’t like the tasty dishes. Because of the lovely staff, nice
décor and the warmth in this place, it will be visited and popular and that’s our purpose.
