Master of Science in Manufacturing Engineering

In todays trend, technology is moving towards intelligent systems.

Technologies that involves the use of artificial intelligence, complex algorithms,

computer vision and many more. Five years from now, God willing, I see myself as a

professional having a PhD in that field with an in-depth knowledge that I may apply to

various researches, innovations, and developments. At the same time, as a faculty

contributing to this university not only through quality service but by conducting and

publishing quality research that is in line with my ability and chosen specialization.

During my undergraduate studies, I was greatly influenced by my mentors to the

point the I choose to follow their path to continue learning. Having great professors who

excel in the field of research and development and a thesis adviser who has Doctorate

degree from this university helped us publish and present our 1 st research paper has

sparked my desire to seek higher learning and pursue graduate studies from this

university. I strongly believe that by continuing this path, I will be able to better serve the

country through innovations, research and development as well as to help me grow as

an Electronics Engineer.

Having a graduate degree opens many doors. It benefits us by having a

specialized set of skills or knowledge that sets us apart from the rest. New set of skills

which are relevant in today’s needs are acquired thus expanding our knowledge which

results to us becoming better problem solvers for the society. However, pursuing a

graduate degree is no easy task. It requires time and dedication as well as a wide range

of personal and intellectual characteristics. Throughout my journey in becoming a

licensed engineer has taught me many things. Self-confidence, motivation and integrity

are traits that I very much cherish. Being optimistic and persistent at hard times makes

a huge difference. Aside from these qualities, love for research is one of the key traits

that I gained in that journey. These are qualities that I poses which I believe will help me

in successfully finishing my graduate studies.

If admitted to the Master of Science in Manufacturing Engineering program. I

plan to focus on Intelligent Systems and Computer Vision so that I may develop and

apply complex algorithms, artificial intelligence and computer vision in order to create

smart solutions and innovations that are inline with the current problems of the country.
