Now we want to look the foundational habit - Habit one to be proactive Why it is
foundational habit because all of other habit flow out of it If habit one is present u
can cultivate the other six if it is not present u will not cultivate the other six

Habit one be- proactive

Basically means that your life is the product of your value not feeling and decision
not condition.

The opposite of being proactive is to be reactive which basically means your life is
the function of feeling, impulse, mood, and other people’s treatment.

The underlying principles of habit one be proactive is to take responsibility

The concept is u and I have the capacity to choose our response

If we don’t believe that your are capable of choosing your own response , if u don’t
have that vision of yourself if u are in deep victims of ur self I will just about
guarantee you that you will become disempowered , you willnot begin with end
in mind with care full thinking about the future , you be the function of the past ,
you will put second, 3rd and 4th things first with ladder leaning against your own
wall , your will think win-lose or lose –win , you will always seek first to be
understood rather than to understand and constantly bunching all kinds of
relationships because both parties feel misunderstood , ego battle will develop at
last u will end up with compromise instead of synergy and you will take the time to
sharpen the saw and you simply don’t have the time to get the GAS . That why
habit one so foundational . it is the vital foundational component of every other
habits .

Again let’s define it pro activity is the capacity and desire to subordinate mood,
feelings, impulses, condition to values based on principles . to suboedinate until
little by little our emotional life which was once like this up and side down but
there is steadiness and constancy in your nature where you can make and keep
promise , where u can treat other with kindness ,in short where u can begin to
practice the other six habits , how many here feel better when the weather outside

substances inside minds how many do better when you feel better that means we
are reactive to the physical culture , if u are proactive u will carry ur weather with
in u regardless of the physical culture and through exthorting through positive
energy and smiling u also realse endorphants what about the social culture how
many feel better when you treated better that menas being reactive to the social
culture what if u can learn to carry the social weather inside so that u van be
consisitent in extermly difficult adverse situation tha what it means to be
peoactive .

We are tested every day in thousands little way in ordinary things and if we are
proactive in those things it gradually develop extraordinary capability in handlings
major setbacks for disappointments but often times we look in to the more
spectacular the more dramatic the larger issue to see the obvious energy or
proactivity .
