The aim of this document is to deep dive into mobile payment systems and wireless security.

It lays the foundation on which other topics like mobile payments, architecture, wireless

networks, etc will be covered. Different mobile payment systems and wireless standards will

The report will explain most popular wireless networks like 3G with connection to GSM and

WLAN networks in the field of mobile payments,security mechanisms involved in each

network and different security requirement.The main concern of the discussion will be to

ponder over if mobile payments offer an accepted level of protection and security to end user.
