Guidelines for Parents:
1. Please read and understand the comprehensive guidelines/ instructions
given in the Concept Paper for the Online Support Program.

2. The weekly work assigned will be split over the week days according to
the timetable set by parents.

3. Parents will monitor and supervise their ward’s work.

4. Any videos/ research work suggested in the assignments will be strictly


monitored by parents.

5. Written work to be done on loose sheets with clear mention of Student’s


name, class/section, subject/topic and date.

Topic Task
Reading  Reading of story pg 8, 9 many times after modeled reading
The Elves & the by the parent.
Shoemaker  Discuss with child what they can see in the picture. Ask
simple Qs to check child’s comprehension.
 Child to enter newly learnt words in ‘My Vocabulary Bank’.
 Give them handwriting practice of the same page.

Reading Check  Practice reading of the story ‘The Elves & the Shoemaker’
from pg 4-9.
 Check your child’s reading, correct the pronunciation, short
pauses after the full stop.
 Ask a few spellings for the new words. Take dictation of
words of your own choice.

concept of comparing and ordering numbers:

and order numbers.

5. Written Work: Do not ask the child to write on the workbooks.
All work is to be done on loose sheets (large squares) Children
must not draw the pictures they should only write the answer.
