Hydraulic Pump
The variable displacement axial piston pump type in

swash plate design is designed for opened circuit
hydrostatic drives. The flow is proportional to the

input drive speed and displacement. By adjusting
the swash plate, it is possible to vary the flow.





10.9.1 Hydraulic Pump Removal

CAUTION
Mark all hoses and components before
removing. Wrong fitment of hoses leads to 
equipment damage or personal injury.


Note
Keep all the bolts and nuts securely after
removal for assembling.


1. Remove the hydraulic pump suction hose clamp

(1) and hose (2) by using suitable tool.

Note

After removing the hydraulic hose, plug it
with a dummy plug.

2. Remove the hydraulic pump delivery hose clamp


Allen screws (1) by using suitable tool.

3. Remove the hydraulic pump delivery hose (2).



4. Remove the hydraulic pump case drain hose (1)

by using suitable tool.



5. Remove the hydraulic pump load sensing hose

(1) by using suitable tool.



6. Remove the hydraulic pump mounting bolts (1)

by using suitable tool.

7. Remove the hydraulic pump (1) from

transmission (2). 

CAUTION
Be careful when removing the hydraulic
pump from the spline of transmission output
shaft.



10.9.2 Drive Shaft Seal Disassembly

1. Protect the drive shaft (1).

2. Wrap the drive shaft with the tape (2).

3. Remove the circlip (3).




4. Remove the shaft seal (1) from the front of the

pump (2).




10.9.3 Drive Shaft Seal Assembly

CAUTION
Change the shaft seal, check its sliding
surface and housing, and grease the sealing
ring. 
1. Check the shaft seal (1) and housing.



2. Press the stop ring carefully with the oil seal

fitting tool (1).



3. Assemble the circlip (1).

CAUTION
Ensure that the circlip is correctly located in
the groove. 



10.9.4 Compensator Valve Seal Disassembly

1. Remove the compensator valve (1).

CAUTION
Remove the compensator valve. Measure and 
note down the dimension.



2. Check the sealing surface (1).

3. Replace the gasket (2).





1. Assemble the compensator valve (1).
2. Tighten the compensator valve to required
torque.



Note
Check all O-rings and backup rings before
assembling the components.

1. Replace the hydraulic pump O-ring (1) while

assembling.



2. Install the hydraulic pump mounting bolts (1) by

using suitable tool.



3. Install the hydraulic pump load sensing hose (1)

by using suitable tool.



by using suitable tool.

5. Install the hydraulic pump delivery hose clamp

Allen screws (1) by using suitable tool.



6. Install the hydraulic pump suction hose clamp(1)

7. Remove the case drain Allen screw (1) by using

suitable tool.

8. Fill the oil (approximately 0.8 liters).


9. Tighten the case drain Allen screw.



10.9.7 Hydraulic Tank Removal

1. Park the equipment on level ground.

2. Engage the parking brake and set the gear shift
lever to neutral.

3. Lower the backhoe bucket and loader bucket to

rest on the ground.

4. Shut off the engine. 

5. Place a suitable container (1) below the

hydraulic tank to drain the hydraulic oil. Release
tank pressure by loosening the breather cap.

6. Release the hydraulic tank pressure by 

loosening the breather cap.



7. Drain the hydraulic oil by removing the drain

plug (2) using suitable tool.

8. Remove the battery (Refer Electricals, Battery

Removal Section).

9. Remove the hydraulic tank hose guard bolts (1)

by using suitable tool and take out the hose 
guard (2).

Note
After removing the hydraulic hose, plug it
with dummy plug.


10. Remove the hydraulic oil filter to hydraulic tank

connecting hose (1) by using suitable tool.



11. Remove the hydraulic tank to hydraulic pump

connecting hose (1) by using suitable tool.



tank hose (1) by using suitable tool.

13. Remove the backhoe control valve block to

hydraulic tank pilot hose (1) by using suitable
tool.



suction hose clamp screw (1) by using suitable
tool.

17. Remove the left hand side cover Allen bolt (1)



crane (1). 

20. Remove the hydraulic tank mounting bolts (1)

by using suitable tool, and remove the

hydraulic tank (2).

a proper crane (2). 



Clean the drain plug, check for O-ring,
replace if necessary. 

11. Tighten the hydraulic drain plug (1) using

suitable tool.

12. Install the battery (Refer Electricals, Battery

Installation Section).

13. Install the left hand side cover (1) by tightening

the bolts using suitable tool. 



10.9.9 Hydraulic Oil Strainer Removal

1. Place a suitable container (1) below the
hydraulic tank to drain the hydraulic oil.

2. Drain the hydraulic oil by removing the drain

plug (2) using suitable tool. 



suction hose clamp screw by using suitable tool.

4. Remove the hydraulic tank to hydraulic pump

suction hose (1). 

5. Remove the hydraulic oil strainer (1) by using

10.9.10 Hydraulic Oil Strainer Installation

1. Tighten the hydraulic oil strainer (1), to the
hydraulic tank by using suitable tool.



suction hose clamp screw (1) and hose by using
suitable tool.

3. Tighten the hydraulic drain plug (1) using

suitable tool.

10.9.11 Hydraulic Breather and Gauge Removal

1. Remove the hydraulic breather cap (1).

2. Remove the screw (2) from the breather cap

holder (3).



3. Remove the strainer (1) along with the gasket.

4. Remove the breather (2) from the cap.

5. Remove the oil level gauge (1) by using suitable

tool.

1. Tighten the oil level gauge (1) by using suitable

2. Place a gasket (1) over the tank neck.

3. Install the strainer (2) in the tank neck.

4. Place another gasket (3) on the top of the

strainer.

5. Assemble the hydraulic breather cap holder (4).



6. Install the hydraulic breather cap (1) to the tank.

10.9.13 Hydraulic Oil Filter Assembly Removal

CAUTION
Mark all hoses and components before
removing. Wrong fitment of hoses leads to
equipment damage or personal injury.

Note
After removing the hydraulic hose, plug it
with dummy plug.

filter connecting hose (1) by using suitable tool.

2. Remove the hydraulic filter to hydraulic tank

cooler hose (1) by using suitable tool.




4. Disconnect the hydraulic oil filter choke sensor

connector (1).

5. Remove the hydraulic oil filter (1) by using

6. Remove the hydraulic oil filter head assembly

bolts (1) by using suitable tool.

removal for assembling.


7. Remove the hydraulic oil filter head assembly

(2).



8. Loosen the Allen bolts (1) of hydraulic oil filter

assembly bracket by using suitable tool and
remove the hydraulic oil filter assembly bracket
(2) from the equipment.




10.9.14 Hydraulic Oil Filter Assembly Installation

1. Assemble the hydraulic oil filter assembly
bracket (1) to the equipment.

2. Tighten the Allen bolts (2) of the oil filter

assembly bracket by using suitable tool. 

Note
Check for all O-rings and backup rings
before assembling the components. 



3. Install the hydraulic oil filter head assembly (1)

by tightening the bolts (2) by using suitable tool.



4. Install the hydraulic oil filter (1) by using suitable

tool.



5. Connect the hydraulic oil filter choke sensor

connector (1).



6. Install the hydraulic oil filter to hydraulic oil

cooler hose (1) by using suitable tool.




7. Install the hydraulic filter to hydraulic tank

connecting hose (1) by using suitable tool.



8. Install the return junction hose to hydraulic oil

filter connecting hose (1) by using suitable tool.




10.9.15 Loader Control Valve Block Assembly Removal

1. Park the equipment on level ground.

2. Engage the parking brake and set the gear shift

lever to neutral.

3. Lower the backhoe bucket and loader bucket to

rest on the ground.

4. Shut off the engine.

Note
Operate the loader control lever several times
to release the hydraulic pressure.

5. Remove loader control lever (Refer Controls,

Loader Control Lever Removal Section).

6. Remove the loader lift spool linkage cotter pin

lock (1) and loader tilt spool linkage cotter pin
lock (2) by using suitable tool.




7. Remove the loader lift spool linkage cotter pin

and loader tilt spool linkage cotter pin.

8. Remove the loader valve block inlet hose (1)

from junction (delivery circuit) by using suitable
tool.


CAUTION
Mark all hoses and components before
removing. Wrong fitment of hoses leads to

equipment damage or personal injury.

Note
Plug the hoses and its seating areas with a
proper dummy plug. 

9. Remove the loader valve block outlet hose (1) to

junction (return circuit) by using suitable tool.



10. Remove the lift cylinder head side hose (1) by

using suitable tool.



11. Remove the lift cylinder rod side hose (1) by

using suitable tool.



12. Remove the tilt cylinder head side hose (1) by

using suitable tool.



