For shuttering at 23rs per sqft = 23* (800slab + 300 beams) = 25300rs

Cost of reinforcement = around 2 tons (excluding columns) = 2000*36 rs = 72000rs

concrete Only for 4 inch slab/beams without including cost for columns max 500 cubic ft = 14.5 meter cube = 14.5
*4300rs = 62350rs

barbending labour = 2500rs * 8 squares = 20000rs

RMC or labour overhead rs 12000 =/- 10% = 14000rs

water and electricity in case of site mix = 500rs

total cost of casting = 1,94,000rs

roughly around rs 2 lakhs and contractor comission/coordination at 15% = 230000rs

This is just concreting and nothing extra to be considered.

I follow this thumb rule personally based on my professional experience:

For an average residential construction (Complete from foundation, construction, electrification, plumbing, tiling,
doors Nd windows etc Ofcourse of normal ranges);

Consider cost of construction as Rs. 1000/sq.ft

So, for 800 sq.ft normally you can calculate it as (800x1000) = Rs.800000/- ( Eight lakes only)

Construction cost of  800sft area RCC Slab by considering it as a 100 mm thick Slab in residential
Building.

Including the shuttering area of  beam sides & slab outside  total area of  Suttering will be 918sft .

(A) Shuttering with Marine Ply Wood / Plastic Coated Ply Wood of 12mm thick with all necessary Supports and
Scaffolding.

Total cost of Shuttering is  = 918 Sft x Rs 45/Sft = Rs 41,310/=

Calculation  for Volume of Concrete for  800Sft = 74.35 Sqm x 0.10m = 7.44Cum

Kindly add the volume of  Concrete for Beam as per the Drawing with you

(B) Calculation for Materials Required for Concrete

(B1 )20 mm size Stone aggregate required for the Slab Concrete = 7 Cum (247 cft )

(B2) River Sand required for the Slab Concrete  = 4 Cum ( 142 cft )

(B3 ) Cement Required is depending on the Ratio of Concrete Mix.

If the Concrete Mix is  M15 grade / 1:2:4  Cement Required is  6.2 bags

and For M20 grade / 1:1.5:3 Cement Required is  8 bags .

(C) Reinforcement Steel Required for Slab.

If this Slab is a Floor Slab 669 kg Steel is required and If it is a Roof Slab 558 kg Steel is required.
Quantity of  20mm Stone aggregate , River Sand and Cement is given above . To get the cost of material You can
multiply this Quantity  with Rate of material in Your Area . All Labour charges for Concrete Work , Concrete
Mixing, Shifting concrete to the slab, Skilled mason required is 918Sft x Rs 4/sft =Rs 3672/=( this Rs 4/sft is
variable according to the Location of work ).

( D)If we are using Lift/ Builders Hoist for shifting concrete from Ground Floor to upper floor Rs
1500/= to be added as Rent  for a day.
