Many years ago a team at Wilfred Johnson Hospital (1) organised a project to
reduce the number of sharps injuries. The OR supervisor, the hospital safety officer
and a general physician (2) participated in the project. They first (3) reviewed the

many injuries with sharps, so the team (5) decided to write new'sharps safety rules'to
