The Senate Foreign Relations Committee briefly mentioned the attack on the USS. Liberty during a hearing on the Foreign Assistance Act of 1967. See attached document on PDF pp. 2-5 in the highlighted section “Israeli Attack on the USS Liberty,” on p.2. in 1971, The House Armed Services Committee investigation report, "Review of Department of Defense Worldwide Communications," contained a section describing the flow of communications connected with the USS Liberty incident but was not an investigation focused on the attack. This document is also attached.
