Sole Mates sells quality shoes for the entire family, specializing in atheletic shoes, sneakers,
Topsiders, leather shoes and accessories owned, managed, and operated by Mr. Arvin Dave P. Dalisay.
The store is co-managed by his parents, Mr. Venancio A. Dalisay and Mrs. Daisy P. Dalisay. The store
provides comfort, joy and satisfaction to the customers through the service and quality products and
knowledgeable and professional customer service

Sole Mate is two main purpose, marketing and innovation. Sole mates’ products meet up the
need of the customer and leads it’s innovation in line of Shoe Merchandising. Also, the purpose of this
business is to offer value through products or services to customers, who pay for the value with cash or
equivalents.

Sole Mate is a type of retailer that specializes in selling authentic shoes. The store will sell the
latest and most popular name brand footwear. Consumers will be educated as to the proper size, style,
fit, and design needed for their particular use and foot characteristics. For athletes, the store will offer
athletic footwear and accessories for almost every sport and active use. The shoes are purchased from
the top manufacturers in the world names such as Nike, Adidas, Rusty Lopez, Vans, Converse, Mendez
and Mario De Boro.

Caring, professionalism, quality, variety and efficiency are valued by Soul Mates. By this, they
give satisfaction to the customer. Sole Mate continuously learns, embrace change, exude joy, share

There are approximately 110,000 residents living within three kilometers of Paseo de Sta. Rosa.
Twenty-six percent, (29,000) are between the ages of five and nineteen. Fifty-two percent, (57,000) are
between the ages of twenty and fifty-four. Within a radius of about three kilometers of an area, Sole
Mates is located at almost of its center. It is easy to find a business that can be seen right away. Within
the area there are tailoring shop, fast food chains, hotels, bookshops and gadgets center and the next
shoe store is four kilometer away. Sole Mates hopes to penetrates sales as expected in the first six
months.

On February 14, 2015, Mr. Arvin Dave P. Dalisay build up his business and named it Sole Mates.
The Idea of the name of the business is from the bottom part of a footwear which is called sole. And to
make it a catchy, he added Mates to complete it. Mr. Dalisay formed his business because he want to
serve people who look and value for his shoe as a comfort and partner in different events such as sports,
fashion and offices.

Sole Mates is a retail store specializing in the sale of authentic shoes for the entire family.
From slippers to shoes to boots, the store also sells shoe accessories, including insoles and shoelace. In
addition, shoe store provides clothing and fashion accessories, such as sunglasses, backpacks and socks.

Sole Mates will be merchandised in an exciting, athletic and fashionatic atmosphere. There will
be posters highlighting the top athletes and their athletic shoe choices, Celebreties wearing their eye-
catching topsiders, skater wearing their sneakers and celebreties in their suit with the leather shoes.
There will also be a section to pick up information about the shoes. The store will continue it's program
of promoting better running shoes and walking shoes on a national level.

When purchasing shoe, customers need a knowledgeable sales person to guide them to the
proper shoe. By offering our exclusive Sole Mates shoes and accesories as well as extensively trained
associates, we will provide the most sophisticated service in the market. The business has an online
sites for customers to shop for 24 hours and buy whenever they wan.

One of the goal is to be the popular and top shoe store in Laguna. Also is To create a product-
based retail store whose primary goal is to exceed customer's expectations with Competitive pricing.

The Potential market of Sole Mates is that provides the best products and best services. Sta.
Rosa has 47 public parks, of which the six largest are devoted solely to athletics. The three-mile radius
has four high schools, four middle schools, and 14 elementary schools in the public school system. Sole
Mates is confident that it will capture the customers with assortment and service.

Once a customer comes in the door, they will be greeted and assisted as much or as little as they
wish. Some customers are uncomfortable with lots of personal attention; others expect it. All potential
sales will be attended to in a timely fashion. While there will be a sales incentive bonus program, long-
term salesperson relationships will take precedence over sales closures. The goal is that 50% of the
customers return within six months. Sole Mates will market directly to the customer through mailings,
phone calls, league presentations, and Internet/email contact. Special orders will be encouraged as a
method to satisfy a specialized need.

Sole Mates’ customers needs will probably be materials like brochures and flyers. They will also
need calling cards and a reliable email address to communicate with. Also the list of the conversion of
sizes from US to Asia and vice versa.

customer service with loyalty and retention in sales.The marketing budget will not exceed 5% of our
gross annual sales and promotions will always stay in tune with our company objectives and mission

Sole Mates will follow an aggressive yet creative promotional plan. This will allow to focus directly on
target customer while still being conservative with our advertising. The retail location will be the
foundation of building customer base. The business will also manage a direct mail program that will
focus on our top 50% customers spotlighting any in-house sales and promotions.

IV. Organization Plan

Sole Mates will be manned by it’s owner and co-managers. Mr. Arvin Dave P. Dalisay who is the
owner of the business will be in-charge of managing the business and at the same time will be the
marketing personnel. Co-managers will be in charge of the layout, design and printing of the orders from
clients and will also function as the office staff in charge of receiving calls.

Co-managers, Mr. Venancio A. Dalisay and Mrs. Daisy P. Dalisay and assiociates have have the
responsibility for opening and closing the store, receiving and stocking inventory, upkeep of the
customer data base, visual merchandising and customer service. Also, share in the supervision and
training of staff. They need the flexibility to work nights and weekends as required.

Operation Plan

Sole Mates will have it’s regular business hours on weekdays from 7:00 am until 8:00 pm and on
weekends, the store will open at 9:00 am until 6:00 pm. The store also considers holidays as a rest day
therefore the store is closed. But only important holidays such Christmas, New year, and holidays of
obligation.
Sole mates’ location is perfectly for a retail store. It is like in Greenfield city which traffic is
moderate and surrounding are eco-friendly so it is good for shopping. In an approximately 10 meters
away from the store is the storage room and inventory.

Machines to be used in the production and in the store are sewing machines for shoelace and
assembling, printers for reports and brochures and photocopier for flyers. Since Sole Mates has an
online sites, desktop computers are needed for updating and communication with the customers.
Barcode Scanner for the product’s price will be aso used.

Materials needed will be mostly cardboards for packaging, clothes, rubbers and mesh. Sole
Mates is well presented in products and also must be and packaging. The manager choose cardboard
because it is environmental friendly and can be recycled. Other materials that are mostly to be used are
bondpapers, special papers, inks, colored papers and envelope.

Sole mates is concerned about financing standings. The business predicts that during the second
year of operation, high level of customer service and strong assortment will allow us to generate
approximately P35000 profit. This will be above the normal two to three year period required for a start-
up retailer. Sales projections are conservative. Should sales increase as anticipated, the profit-to-sales

Mr. Arvin Dave P. Dalisay best friend is the Mayor of the area that’s why Sole Mates anticipate

Successful operation and building a loyal customer base will allow Sole Mates to be self-sufficient and
profitable
Sole Mates aims to the best retailer store offering quality customer service and a strong
assortment of the new style of shoes. They also offer shoes in all price ranges, to assure that the entire
community can be satisfied. On its fifth year,Sole Mates hopes to established franchise or outlers in
other areas like Batangas, Metro Manila, Palawan, Cavite, Davao, Cebu and Bagio. As it succeeds on the
