ESSAY

Post Masters, I intend to be back to India and work towards the development of the
organization I will work with and my homeland by the execution of the knowledge and
experience I have gained during the management program. I look forward to a prolific career
at International companies investing in our country for tourism, hospitality, health, housing,
clothing, shipping, education, oil, and gas. The requirement of prolific business professionals
will increase in these ever-changing technological scenarios. I am confident of obtaining a role
as a Strategist soon after I graduate from Babson College. My primary focus is to resume my
career in Hospitality. I wish to see myself as a Director or General Manager of an organization
in the next 5-6 years from my graduation. With a rapid yet steady and systematic progression,
Following the experience which I will glean working under a multi-national Organizational, I
aspire to see myself leading my own enterprise in the next 10-12 years. I am quite keen in
utilizing my previous experience along with my enlightenment garnered during my graduation
to explore multiple facets of the Hospitality Industry. I plan to delve deep into those branches
of Hospitality which is more than just ‘Meet, Greet and Serve’. I had taken multiple statistics
courses besides having business papers in my college curriculum, namely Accountancy, Food
and Beverage Controls, Financial Management, Business Ethics and Law, Business Economics,
Strategic Management, and Entrepreneurship. I also had advanced calculus and
differentiation in my High School as I was a from a Science and Mathematics background.

After realizing that my current knowledge and work experience is not enough to satisfy my
insatiable hunger for knowledge, I have decided to pursue a graduate degree which will help
me comprehend the minute details of the same. After consulting a few alumni, I found the
MS in Management Entrepreneurial Leadership at Babson College as the most appropriate to
help me possess the skills necessary to achieve my long-term goal of an Entrepreneur. The
program will help me hone my management skills, allocation of manpower and resources and
also teach me the salient tools of business which will set my enterprise apart. Leading an
Organization requires a lot of practical business acumen other than the theoretical
knowledge. Its multi-cultural campus will allow the ideal scope for the exchange of analytical
and problem-solving business-related ideas necessary for developing my quantitative,
conceptual and multitasking skills. I believe that business has a novel aspect in every changing
day. There is something new in the market everyday to keep abreast of. My focus is to further
my knowledge with research on Entrepreneurship trends and Strategy under the guidance of
commensurate Professors. The dynamic environment along with innovative tools and
techniques will be very useful in the proliferation of my career.
