SKILL ACTIVITIES DETAILS

• We are assigned to sing a song with a
word "Love" on its lyrics
LISTENING
• This is the first activity that we've done
under professor Padilla. In this activity we are
instructed to choose for a song affiliated a
word 'LOVE' on the lyrics of that song then we
have to sing it in our class, the song that I
have chosen during this activity was the song
of Taylor Swift which entitled "Love story".

• This activity was so rejuvenating for

• Listening to the sounds of our

really makes me feel lively and vivid. In this
activity professor Padilla have told us to listen
the sounds of our environment then we have
to take some notes about the sounds that we
have heard.

• We are instructed to record the sounds of

our surroundings in this activity using our
• Recording the sounds of our
phones or any kind of recording device which
surroundings
could be capable recording the sounds. I
started recording exactly 10:00 o'clock in the
 evening since it's the instruction given to us
by our professor to start recording at exactly
10:00 pm since it's the time when people are
actually not working and having their rest.
The moment I started recording the sounds I
was hesitant which sounds could I possibly
heard that moment since everybody is in rest.
Apart form recording the sounds we need
also to take some notes and to make a
written report on our observations that
moment.

• During the flag ceremony I had my

recording using my red velvet phone on the
sounds of our surroundings, honestly
speaking It wasn't easy for me to do my tasks.
Simultaneously I did my recording plus taking

surroundings during the flag ceremony
time listening to the announcement given by
the speaker, yet, I've done it vividly.

 of our environment. I situated myself in the
field near into my classroom then I've listened
to the sounds such as the rustles of the
• Sounds inside the campus leaves,chirps of the birds and others.

• We are instructed to listen to the sounds,

the noise barriers inside the campus, It takes
patience and abnegation just to focus and to
listen to sounds for there are plenty of sounds
and I have to identify the kind of sound that
I've heard, then I still have to take some
• Noise Barriers notes. After hearing the sounds we presented
our work by sharing it on our class.
SPEAKING • A Play about Road Blocks To Listening • Our group was assigned to perform a short
play regarding on the "Road Blocks To
Listening" this is a series of presentation of
every group which means that after the
performance of the first presentator it should
be followed quickly by the next group, the
presentation focuses on Road Blocks To
listening which is the Hostility to
speaker,Daydreaming,Prejudging,selective
listening,Closemindedness,Listeners
Background and Distractions.

• Role Play • In this activity we've performed a short play

about 'Harry Potter'. We are instructed to
make a short play which reflects on the group
name that we have chosen and since our
group have chosen to have a name Harry
Potter the theme should be a Harry Potter as
well.

• Pronunciation of the vowel sounds • In this activity we are assigned to


• How to emulate the consonant sounds
READING • A Passage from books,movies and etc.
pronounce the vowel sounds it's not merely
reciting the sounds nor emulating and
expressing how the word should be
pronounced but we need also to perform an
act depending on the sounds/words we have
to utter. Each of us had our part by giving at
least 5 words with the sounds on it. In this
activity I had the 'Schwa' sound and I gave 5
words by reciting it in front of our class.
• This is the pronunciation of consonant
sounds similar to the prior activity we need to
pronounce again here the words with
consonant sounds, the only thing is that in
this activity we only need to give at least 3
words with consonant sounds and we have to
give an action everytime we pronounce the
word with consonant a sound. I have chosen
to pronounce the hard 'th' sound in this
activity.
• Under the 5 Macroskills we have reading
and the first activity that we had was to get a
 passage from books,movies or any type of
reference and then we need to read that
passage that we have chosen in front of our
class, some of us gave a passage from books
while some are from movies. In my part I
have chosen to get my passage from my
favorite movie at the same time from a
famous novel of Suzanne Collins which
entitled "Hunger Games".
