Stakeholder:

Bret Wydysh, Respiratory clinical educator for AirMed Perinatal Team

Other potential stakeholders, AirMed Perinatal team team members and administration

Design Challenge
Members of the transport team need a way to practice using devices and procedures that are
considered low incidence and high acuity without having a patient available or wasting
resources. Being able to practice these skills will help the team members maintain competency
on rarely used skills and equipment

Design Goal
The goal for the design challenge would be to create a website that would serve as an
educational resource for the transport team so equipment and skills can be reviewed

Users
Primary Users: Members of the Perinatal transport team
Secondary Users: Members of the Adult/Peds transport team
Tertiary Users: Members of other transport teams potentially

Users would work with this design on shift or during other free time

Contacting and recruiting users for interviews will be done while working on shift or via email
The users motivation for participating in the design process will be to give input on usability, and
effectiveness of the design.

Successful Outcomes
Successful outcomes would be the user being able to navigate the site easily, and to be able to
utilize the educational resources effectively which in turn would allow them to use the devices
the resources represent correctly and perform skills correctly when they are evaluated or during
missions. Skill assessments are made on an annual basis.
