Fish cage introduction

Deep water cages, also called offshore cages. It is deployed in water of 15m deep at least.
Deep water cages have large aquaculture capacity and strong resistance to wind and waves.
Deep water cages have shown obvious advantages in expanding the waters, reducing coastal environmental pressures, improving the
quality and efficiency of fish.
At present, there are floating cages, lift cages, sunken cages and semi-submerged cages depending on the type of operation.
Depending on the structure of the cage, there are circles, squares, polygons and cones.
The materials of the frame are also plastic, metal and concrete. In recent years, HDPE (High Density Polyethylene) has been used as a
raw material in cages worldwide.

Components
The cage is mainly composed of three parts. A frame, a netting and an anchoring system.
At present, most of the fish cage frame materials in the world use HDPE (High Density Polyethylene), which has good
heat resistance and cold resistance, stable chemical properties, high rigidity and flexibility, and high mechanical strength.

Netting
The soft mesh is an important part of the cage. The top end is fixed on the floating tube of the inner ring of the frame, and

The mesh has a polyethylene mesh, a nylon mesh, a metal mesh and a high density polyethylene mesh.
Polyethylene nets are the cheapest and can be used in places where there are no winds and waves, such as lakes and rivers.
Nylon mesh is more durable than polyethylene mesh, and is currently suitable for use in deep seas and waves.
The metal mesh is relatively strong, but it is not suitable because the seawater is too corrosive. Ultra-high molecular weight
polyethylene is the latest mesh material. It has been used to make bulletproof vests. It is ten times more expensive than
ordinary polyethylene, but it has very high toughness and strength and can resist strong wind and waves.
