Dynamic Façade of Building

❖ Ministry desired that the Façade of Building to be changed from GRC to
Dynamic/KineticFaçade.
❖ Based on various meetings and options submitted by NBCC Dynamic Façade with Moving
Blocks approved in principle by Ministry.
❖ NBCC floated open tender to invite bid from Dubai registered contractors for Dynamic façade.
Received single bid and the Price was abnormally high.
❖ Fresh Short Tender invited with revised parameters. Financial bid opened and negotiation
completed. Ready to place work order on receipt of Budget approval from Ministry/MOC.
❖ Dubai Authority Development Control approved Revised Façade Design on 22.03.2020 with
comments. MEP design under preparation and submitted to Expo shortly.

❖ During the initial estimation the Provision made for Hardware i.e. Hardware for Audio Video, Media,
Light, Graphic Exhibit etc for Curation considered in general based on the initial concept design.
❖ During the review of Project Ministry/FICCI desired that the Curation need to be designed with
Theme/Content etc with Special effects to show case India to International Participants.
❖ Keeping in view the inputs given by Ministry/FICCI during several meetings and presentations,
NBCC has finally prepared Design Concept of Curation. The revised Design Concept of Curation is
approved in principle by Ministry.
❖ Detailed design of Curation Content / Interior Decoration is in progress as per Budget of Rs. 55 Cr
given by Ministry.
