Dear Parents
The children have had another fabulous week working hard and enjoying the autumn sunshine. Our Year
6 children had a visit to Witney Hospital on Monday to learn about accident and emergency and were
congratulated in their “hands on” involvement and behaviour. We hope the sun continues to shine next
week for our orienteering, bbq and family quiz evening next
next Friday 2nd October 2009. This will be a
really enjoyable social occasion and the opportunity to welcome friends and family to our school.

DINNER MONEY – Thank you to those parents
who send in money in advance on a Monday or on
the day the meal is eaten. Some meals however, are
currently outstanding so please do not wait for a
brown “reminder” envelope – these are not sent out
as a routine way to pay. If you think you may be
eligible for free school meals then please call in the
office for a form – thank you.
Absent from School ?
If your child is absent from school for any
reason, please don’t forget to let us know.
Absences are recorded in our registers with the
appropriate reason code, i.e illness, holiday,
medical appointment etc. Where no reason is
given the absence is recorded as
“unauthorised” and may be investigated by the
Educational Welfare Officer. You can notify us
about the absence by telephoning school on
01367 860318 and selecting option 1. Thank
you.
