Platea Cibum
History of the Company

The Platea Cibum company was founded in 1990 by our parents. Our parents studied
in the same school. They all have the same hobby of cooking and have one goal: to be
successful in the future so they were encouraged to build a small business.

A year before, their professor gave them a difficult task that requires a quite amount of
budget. So in order for them to finish that, they decided to go to one house and start planning,
but as they dwell into their project they eventually became tired and hungry so they decided
to cook while having a little fun.

As they treat themselves by having fun, one of our parents thought about a brilliant idea.
They put healthy ingredients to the food that they were cooking. And they really liked it! So
they thought of selling what they cooked so that they can have money for their project. They
changed it to a more enjoyable and affordable food for the Filipino people. After gaining
money, they were able to make the project their professor was requiring the best project of
their lives!

As time passed, their street food became known. People came to the place where they sell.
And now, we want to continue their legacy and make this business become a well known
food stall not just in Antipolo, but in other cities too! We will work hard even if we
experience more ups and downs of the business world.

Mission

Platea Cibum’s is a company dedicated to providing healthy street food in an atmosphere for
customers who seek fun “gourmet” experience outside restaurants. We intend to make
enough profit to generate a fair return for us and to finance continued growth and
development in quality products. We also maintain a friendly, fair and creative work
environment, which respects diversity, new ideas, and hard work.
Vision

Strong teams work together to meet a common goal with the intent of contributing to the
advancement of all involved. The Platea Cibum company actively shares responsibilities and
outcomes for our company wants to be a well-known healthy street food stall and rewarded
as the leading company by offering wonderful eating experience with great and delicious
food at reasonable prices.

Objectives

 To increase profitability
 To ensure customer satisfaction
 Social and public responsibility
 To optimize productivity
 To make our employees happy

Goals

 To grow our business locally

 To delight our company’s customers
 To launch our product successfully

Core Values

 Pursue excellence / ambitious

In nature, as in business, it is always better to be proactive then reactive when striving
for business excellence. By focusing on constantly pushing yourself and your business
to be in a constant state of growth, both yourself and the company you lead will be
constantly evolving and improving ahead of your competitors.
 Passionate
A business owner must create an atmosphere of respect and trust. Strong teams work
together to meet a common goal with the intent of contributing to the advancement of
all involved. They participate actively sharing responsibilities and outcomes.

 Adaptable
“to improve is to change; to be perfect is to change often.”
While perfection in a business is never possible, how well we adapt to change will
determine how durable our succes will be.

 Integrable
Integrity is the quality of being honest and having strong moral principles. It is
generally a personal choice to uphold oneself to consistently moral and ethical
standards and a business should surround itself with people who care deeply about
integrity. When this happens, everyone benefits.

 Empathetic
Empathy is not something everyone possesses and for those who do, it is a gift. The
ability to understand the challenges that the others deal with, what they care about and
how you can help them thrive to hit their goals. This human trait brings forth qualities
of warmth and strength together. Leading with compassion has great advantages.
Product

We, the Platea Cibum Company are proposing to you a business idea that we have developed
over the past few weeks. After much planning, meeting and research, the time has finally
come to bring it to our industry. A street food stall named “Street Foods Ni Dong”.

Our product will surely give the customers element of surprise as they munch on our
delicious goods.

Banana Cue
This product considered is one of the all-time
best selling street food in our stall, Banana Cue
can be easily be spotted around streets of manila
and in other places within the Philippines, as
well. This usually sold along with turon.
Turon
This product is the twin of Banana Cue
because they’re the two famous
combination street food in the
Philippines.

Marketing Strategies
To progress our business we have a strategy. One of the strategies that we do is
making an advertisement on our business and posting some pictures on social media so more
people will be able to see it. We are doing our very best for people to patronize our small
business.

 Targeted Marketing

Marketing to our customers directly will help us determine which marketing strategies
and tactics are going to give our business the most bang for our buck and what will be
most effective in reaching our marketing goals.

 Outbound Marketing

An outbound marketing strategy requires our team to actively pursue customers who
may be interested in what our business has to offer. Examples of outbound marketing
tactics include cold calling, direct mail campaigns like postcards, email marketing
blasts where the recipient has not opted in, and door-to-door canvassing residential
and business properties

 Visual Marketing Strategy

Developing creative visual content is a great way to reach audiences at a personal

level. Examples of visual marketing include creating infographics about our stall,
pinning links to Pinterest to market our business, or developing powerful graphics to
engage an audience. These can be posted to social media and social bookmarking sites
as a way to further exposure.

 If we are going to compare yourself to others, we make sure if they are the people that
we aspire to be. We compare ourselves to the leaders in our fields and our strongest
competitors when striving for business excellence.
