Introduction
Method
In this research the researchers used survey method to measure the relationship between
Service Quality of Hotel and Hotel Image. The respondents of this research are 1 st year BSHM
students who joined the school educational tour. The questionnaires used is from a case study from
Kuala Lumpur Malaysia about Hotel Satisfaction and Corporate/ Hotel Image. The Questionnaires
used from the research measures the correlation of the two variables based on five point frequency

Based on the survey, the respondents have a high level of communication skills (mean = 3.14, s =
0.1). (Support your findings using researches.) A high level of communication skills is vital to Hospitality
Management practitioners especially those who are in direct contact with clients like front desk
attendants, room attendants and gaming associates.
The survey also revealed that have a very high decision making skills (mean = 2.97, s = 0.3).
(Support findings with researches.) As in other jobs, decision making is a life skill that helps individuals
consider, weigh and choose the best option in order to ascertain that the best decision has been made. In
the hospitality and tourism industry, decision making skill is important because HM practitioners deal
with guests. Every decision will affect not only the hotel or the restaurant, but also its current and future
clients.
After performing a correlational analysis, it has been found that there is a moderate positive
correlation between communication skills and decision making skills (r = 0.6453). (Support findings with
researches.) From this result, it can be concluded that an HM student’s communication skill has an impact
to their decision making skill, although further studies may be conducted to verify this result.
