Leader: The Lord be with You.
Everyone: And also with you.

another suitable passage from the scriptures.)
Jesus said, “I am the living bread which
came down from heaven; if anyone eats
of this bread, he will live for ever; and
the bread which I shall give for the life
of the world is my flesh. For my flesh is
food indeed, and my blood is drink
indeed. Whoever eats my flesh and
drinks my blood abides in me, and I in
him.”
John 6:51, 55-56

Jesus said, “Abide in me, as I in you. As
the branch cannot bear fruit by itself,
unless it abides in the vine, neither can
you, unless you abide in me. I am the
vine, you are the branches. By this my
Father is glorified, that you bear much
fruit, and so prove to be my disciples. As
the Father has loved me, so have I loved
you; abide in my love.”

Son, on the night before he suffered,
instituted the Sacrament of his Body
and Blood: Mercifully grant that we
may receive it thankfully in
remembrance of Jesus Christ our Lord,
who in these holy mysteries gives us a
pledge of eternal life; and who lives and
reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one
God, now and forever. Amen.*
(The leader may lift the bread and wine to present
them to the congregations as he or she declares the
following)
Leader: The Gifts of God for the People
of God. Take them in remembrance that
Christ died for you and feed on him in
your hearts by faith and with
thanksgiving.
* The leader may substitute with the Prayer of Humble
Access found on page 337 in the Book of the Common
Prayer.

Juntos: Estos dones santos y consagrados

instituyó el sacramento de su Cuerpo y
Sangre: Concédenos, en tu misericordia,
que lo recibamos con gratitud como
memorial de Jesucristo nuestro Señor, que
en estos santos misterios nos da una
prenda de la vida eterna; quien vive ahora
y reina contigo y el Espíritu Santo, un solo
Dios, por los siglos de los siglos. Amén.*
El líder puede levantar el pan y vino para mostrarlos a la
congregación mientras proclama lo siguiente:
Líder: Los dones de Dios para el pueblo de
Dios. Tómenlos en memoria de que Cristo
murió por ustedes y aliméntense en sus
corazones por fe y con agradecimiento.
