The Adapter Bluetooth + Display Bluetooth is an optional component of the VacuDAP dose / dose area product
measuring system and is suitable for the following measuring systems:

It is used for wireless data transmission between a measuring system VacuDAP-C and the VacuDAP Bluetooth
®
display unit. Thus a measuring system VacuDAP-C Bluetooth is established.

The Adapter Bluetooth contains a RF module with Bluetooth wireless technology in a plastic enclosure. The
®
Adapter Bluetooth can be mounted inside or at the outer side of the X-ray tube assembly of the C-arm. The
®
Adapter Bluetooth and the connected measuring system VacuDAP-C are powered by the X-ray tube assembly of
the C-arm or X-ray device.

For the Adapter Bluetooth , a voltage of protection class II must be used
in the specified range (see Technical data). The power supply must meet
the requirements of the European Standard for Medical Electrical Equip-
ment EN 60601-1. A reliable isolation according to the requirements of
medical electrical equipment must be ensured.

The display unit 943 00 06 complements the measuring system VacuDAP - C Bluetooth . It is used to simultane-
ously display the dose area product (DAP) and dose area product rate as well as to control the measuring system.
The display unit has two bright 8-digit alphanumeric LED displays, which can indicate measuring values and status
information. The measuring system is operated with the control buttons RESET and TEST, while by PRINT a print-
er protocol output can be started.
The display unit is powered by a power supply unit of protection class II. For the communication with the measuring

system VacuDAP-C Bluetooth a RF Bluetooth® module with chip antenna is integrated. A serial interface (RS-
232, galvanically isolated) enables data output to a printer or PC.
On the rear of the display unit are the connections for the medical device power supply and the RS-232 interface.

In the display unit wireless module, there are factory settings for the address of the Adapter Bluetooth wireless
module and a security code. A point-to-point connection is only established to this defined wireless module. Labels
® ®
are attached to the Adapter Bluetooth and the Display Bluetooth and show the names of the internal wireless
modules (e.g. 09 B 123 und 09 M 123). In addition, both components carry the same serial numbers. This makes it
possible to check the assignment of paired devices from the outside.
