Dear families,

Thank you for partnering with us through Distance Learning. We

are working hard to create lessons that are engaging and
standards-based. Your child is expected to keep up with each
required assignment. This includes the lessons for math (including
fact fluency), reading (including reading and testing for AR -
beginning this week), and writing. Hopefully, the daily pacing guide
has helped your child keep on track without feeling overwhelmed.
Encourage your child to do the activities for Bible and social
studies as well!
We understand that this is a learning process. Thank you for
continuing to be flexible and patient. This will be key to our
success. Remember, we are here to answer questions, offer
support, and provide additional resources.
We love and miss you all!

In Him,
Your Second Grade Team

YOU’VE BEEN ASKING AND HERE IT IS! We are officially

starting A.R. testing, but we are not worrying about your child’s
goal. Just read and enjoy!

● Mrs. Eckart has prepared this video https://youtu.be/eFdrh9W8zGY

for parents and students on how to take an AR test at home. If your
child needs their username or password, email your child’s teacher.
● Students may test over any book in their level or near their level, as
it is most important that students continue reading. Use this link
www.arbookfind.com to search for available quizzes on books your
family may have at home.
