GROUP DANCING COMPETITION

GENERAL RULES
1. The contest is open to all bona fide high school students, from Junior High
and Grade 11, of any private or public school in Nueva Ecija.
2. Each group will perform to any dance music with a maximum time limit of 5
minutes. Beyond this limit, a total of five (5) points will be deducted from the
group’s total score.
3. Each group will have a minimum of five (5) and a maximum of ten (10)
members.
4. The members of the group may be composed of all males or females, or any
combination thereof.
5. The dance number must have the accompaniment of a modern and lively
music.
6. Folk dances or accompaniment of folk music is not allowed.
7. The use of pyrotechnic gadgets, smoke or combustible materials as props
are not allowed.

CRITERIA FOR JUDGING

Judging shall be based on the following criteria: 

a. Choreography 50%
(creativity, style & originality)
b. Execution 30%
(timing, coordination & projection)
c. Costume 10%
d. Over-all Impact 10%

Token for the Judges – P1500.00 (P500/Judge)
