Consignas de seguridad
Este manual contiene las informaciones necesarias para la seguridad personal así como para la prevención de
daños materiales. Las informaciones para su seguridad personal están resaltadas con un triángulo de
advertencia; las informaciones para evitar únicamente daños materiales no llevan dicho triángulo. De acuerdo al
grado de peligro las consignas se representan, de mayor a menor peligro, como sigue.
Peligro
Significa que, si no se adoptan las medidas preventivas adecuadas se producirá la muerte, o bien lesiones
corporales graves.
Advertencia
Significa que, si no se adoptan las medidas preventivas adecuadas puede producirse la muerte o bien lesiones
corporales graves.
Precaución
con triángulo de advertencia significa que si no se adoptan las medidas preventivas adecuadas, pueden
producirse lesiones corporales.
Precaución
sin triángulo de advertencia significa que si no se adoptan las medidas preventivas adecuadas, pueden
producirse daños materiales.
Atención
significa que puede producirse un resultado o estado no deseado si no se respeta la consigna de seguridad
correspondiente.
Si se dan varios niveles de peligro se usa siempre la consigna de seguridad más estricta en cada caso. Si en una
consigna de seguridad con triángulo de advertencia se alarma de posibles daños personales, la misma consigna
puede contener también una advertencia sobre posibles daños materiales.
Personal cualificado
El equipo/sistema correspondiente sólo deberá instalarse y operarse respetando lo especificado en este
documento. Sólo está autorizado a intervenir en este equipo el personal cualificado. En el sentido del manual se
trata de personas que disponen de los conocimientos técnicos necesarios para poner en funcionamiento,
conectar a tierra y marcar los aparatos, sistemas y circuitos de acuerdo con las normas estándar de seguridad.

WinCC flexible Engineering System

WinCC flexible soporta todos los PCs de uso corriente compatibles con IBM/AT. Adopte los
valores recomendados a fin de trabajar con WinCC flexible de forma eficaz.

Instalación
1.1 Instalar WinCC flexible
Nota
El sistema operativo puede actualizarse con Microsoft Windows Update. Para más
información al respecto, consulte la Ayuda en pantalla de Microsoft Windows o visite la
página web de Microsoft.
En la documentación adjunta al panel de operador encontrará información para instalar el
sistema operativo del mismo.
1.1.2 Vista general
Introducción
El presente documento describe la instalación de la versión completa de WinCC flexible
2005 SP1. Por favor, tenga presente que la actualización disponible en Internet no ofrece
todas las opciones y funcionalidades de la versión completa.
Resumen breve de la instalación

Si se cumplen todos los requisitos del sistema mencionados podrá instalar WinCC flexible a
partir del CD-ROM. Seleccione el volumen de componentes e idiomas de producto que
desee instalar.
• Instalación estándar: recomendada.
• Instalación mínima: para ahorrar espacio de memoria.
• Instalación personalizada: para determinar por sí mismo los componentes e idiomas del
producto que se deban instalar.
Las licencias pueden instalarse junto con el producto o posteriormente.
Si ha adquirido las opciones de WinCC flexible, instale cada una de ellas por separado.
Para instalar una opción deberá instalar la clave de licencia correspondiente.
El capítulo "Licencias" le explica lo que son las mismas y el modo de utilizar las claves de
licencia.
Derechos de usuario
Para instalar WinCC flexible y WinCC flexible Runtime se requiere disponer de derechos de
Administrador.
Tras finalizar la instalación, se requiere disponer de derechos de usuario simples para
utilizar WinCC flexible y WinCC flexible Runtime con Windows XP.
Tras finalizar la instalación, se requiere disponer de derechos de usuario avanzado para
utilizar WinCC flexible con Windows 2000. Para utilizar WinCC flexible Runtime con
Windows 2000 es suficiente con disponer de derechos de usuario.

Instalación
WinCC flexible integrado en STEP 7

Para poder integrar WinCC flexible en STEP 7 se debe tener en cuenta la secuencia de
instalación. Instale primero el software de STEP 7 y después WinCC flexible. La rutina de
instalación de WinCC flexible reconocerá la instalación existente de STEP 7 e instalará
automáticamente el soporte para la integración en STEP 7.
Si efectúa una instalación personalizada, deberá activar la opción "Integración en STEP 7".
Si WinCC flexible ya está instalado y STEP 7 se instala posteriormente, será preciso iniciar
el programa de setup de WinCC flexible e instalar el componente "Integración en STEP 7".
WinCC flexible integrado en SIMOTION

Para poder integrar WinCC flexible en SIMOTION Scout se deberá tener en cuenta la
secuencia de instalación. Instale primero el software de STEP 7, luego SIMOTION Scout y
después WinCC flexible. La rutina de instalación de WinCC flexible reconocerá la instalación
existente de SIMOTION SCOUT e instalará automáticamente el soporte para la integración
en STEP 7.
Si efectúa una instalación personalizada, deberá activar la opción "Integración en
SIMOTION SCOUT".
Si WinCC flexible ya está instalado y STEP 7 y SIMOTION SCOUTse instalan
posteriormente, será preciso iniciar el programa de setup de WinCC flexible e instalar los
componentes "Integración en STEP 7" e "Integración SIMOTION SCOUT".
ProAgent y WinCC flexible 2005

ProAgent no se instala ni se actualiza automáticamente al instalar WinCC flexible. Si existe
una versión anterior de ProAgent en el ordenador, deberá desinstalarla. ProAgent se instala
desde el programa de setup de WinCC flexible.

1.1.3 Instalación típica
Introducción
En la instalación estándar se instalan todos los componentes de WinCC flexible, a saber:
• WinCC flexible Engineering System
– Diagnóstico WinCC flexible*)
– Integración WinCC flexible*)
– Migración*)

Procedimiento
El programa de instalación arranca automáticamente tras insertar el CD de producto en la
unidad de CD-ROM. Si no fuese así, podrá arrancarlo manualmente haciendo doble clic en
el archivo "Setup.exe" en el CD del producto.
1. Seleccione el idioma de instalación en el que deban visualizarse los cuadros de diálogo.
2. En el cuadro de diálogo siguiente, lea detenidamente las observaciones sobre el
producto.
3. Lea y acepte el contrato de licencia.

4. Seleccione los componentes que desea instalar. Es posible determinar directorios de

instalación por separado para los diversos componentes. A este efecto, seleccione el
componente deseado. Aparecerá el botón de comando "Examinar". Seleccione la ruta de
instalación para el componente en cuestión. Para el componente "ProAgent" no es
posible determinar un directorio de instalación propio. ProAgent se instala en un
subdirectorio de WinCC flexible 2005.
El estado de los diversos componentes se indica mediante símbolos pequeños que

aparecen a la izquierda de ellos. Para más información sobre estos símbolos, haga clic
en el botón "Ayuda".

5. Seleccione la edición conforme a su licencia. El cuadro de diálogo no aparece en WinCC

flexible Micro.

6. Seleccione el tipo de instalación "Estándar".
7. Tras instalar el software es preciso reiniciar el equipo. No extraiga el CD de

WinCC flexible de la unidad de CD-ROM. Tras rearrancar el equipo, inicie la sesión con
el mismo nombre de sesión con el que realizó la instalación.
El sistema se reconfigura después de la instalación. Ello puede tardar varios minutos.
8. Si en el ordenador no existen todavía licencias para los componentes instalados, una vez
finalizada la instalación se le solicitará que transfiera las licencias. Siga las instrucciones
que aparecen en pantalla para licenciar los componentes y transfiera las licencias del
disquete a una unidad del disco duro del PC. Las licencias también se pueden transferir
en un momento posterior con el Automation License Manager.
Si la instalación ha finalizado sin errores, arranque WinCC flexible de la forma descrita en el
capítulo "Inicio".
Nota
En la instalación se instala también la base de datos MSDE SQL de Microsoft. En la página
web de Microsoft "www.Microsoft.com" encontrará información e indicaciones adicionales
sobre eventuales restricciones.
Al instalar WinCC flexible se instalan también componentes necesarios del sistema
operativo que no estaban disponibles. Después de instalar WinCC flexible debe
comprobarse con la función "Microsoft Windows Update" si se requieren nuevas
actualizaciones de seguridad

que muestra los eventos del sistema operativo. El diagnóstico de WinCC flexible
también está incluido en WinCC flexible Macro, pero no el Plug-In.
– Integración de WinCC flexible*)
Integración de WinCC flexible en STEP 7:
Los componentes SIMATIC de visualización y automatización se configuran y se
gestionan en una plataforma conjunta. El Administrador SIMATIC de STEP 7
constituye la plataforma en la que se automatizan parcialmente los procesos de
configuración. La integración en STEP 7 sólo se ofrecerá en calidad de opción si
STEP 7 ya está instalado.
Integración de WinCC flexible en SIMOTION:
Los componentes de visualización SIMATIC y los componentes de automatización
SIMOTION se configuran y se gestionan en la plataforma central SIMOTION SCOUT.
A este respecto, los procesos de configuración se automatizan parcialmente. La
integración en SIMOTION sólo se ofrecerá en calidad de opción si SIMOTION ya está
instalado.

Los componentes CBA permiten crear módulos tecnológicos encapsulados con
funcionalidad definida conforme a la especificación PROFINET.
– Migración*) Los datos de un proyecto ProTool o WinCC existente se convierten a
WinCC flexible.
– Gráficos de WinCC flexible: colección de imágenes prediseñadas que contiene
banderas, figuras de paneles de operador, así como una completa librería de
símbolos.
– Sistema de ayuda de WinCC flexible: completo sistema de ayuda en pantalla en
forma de archivos de ayuda HTML de Microsoft.

8. Seleccione en "Idiomas de producto" el idioma de la interfaz de usuario de WinCC
flexible Engineering System:
– Estándar: Inglés.
– WinCC flexible 2005 Alemán, francés, italiano y español
– WinCC flexible 2005 Asia: Chino simplificado, chino tradicional, coreano, japonés.

1.1.6 Instalar las licencias y las opciones
Introducción
Por defecto, las licencias para WinCC flexible Engineering System, WinCC flexible Runtime
y las opciones de WinCC flexible se instalan también durante la instalación del software. No
obstante, las licencias también pueden instalarse posteriormente por separado.
Para instalar una opción por separado, deberá instalar la clave de licencia correspondiente.
WinCC flexible contiene de antemano todas las opciones. Éstas sólo deben habilitarse para
poder utilizarlas.
El software WinCC flexible Engineering System se licencia con ayuda del Automation
License Manager. La herramienta "AuthorsW" utilizada hasta ahora ya no se adecua para
ello.
Nota
A partir de WinCC flexible 2005, las autorizaciones empleadas hasta ahora se reemplazarán
por las claves de licencia que se utilizarán de ahora en adelante. No obstante, en algunos
paneles de operador se pueden seguir utilizando las autorizaciones.
Las claves de licencia se gestionan con el Automation License Manager que se instala junto
con WinCC flexible. Para transferir las autorizaciones a un panel de operador, utilice la
herramienta de servicio "ProSave" que se instala asimismo junto con WinCC flexible.

• El disquete de claves de licencia no puede estar protegido contra escritura.
• La unidad de disco en la que instalará la licencia es de tipo local y no está comprimida.
Precaución
En las unidades RAM, disquetes o unidades de disco comprimidas no se instalan
licencias. Sírvase leer la descripción del Automation License Manager (menú "Inicio ►
Simatic ► Documentación"). Tenga en cuenta todas las indicaciones y advertencias. Las
licencias de prueba instaladas tienen una vigencia limitada.
Procedimiento
1. Salga de WinCC flexible Engineering System y de WinCC flexible Runtime.
2. Introduzca el disquete de claves de licencia en la disquetera.
3. Arranque el "Automation License Manager" a partir del menú Inicio de Windows ("Inicio ►
Simatic ► License Management ► Automation License Manager").
4. En la ventana izquierda, seleccione la disquetera como unidad de origen. En la ventana
derecha se visualizarán las claves de licencia y/o autorizaciones existentes en el
disquete de claves de licencia.
5. Seleccione una o varias de las licencias que desea instalar para el tipo de software, las
opciones o los "power packs" y, en el menú contextual, elija el comando "Transferir...".
Se abrirá el cuadro de diálogo "Transferir clave de licencia".
6. En la lista desplegable, seleccione la unidad de destino y confirme su selección haciendo
clic en "Aceptar". Las claves de licencia seleccionadas se borrarán del disquete. En el
caso de las autorizaciones, el contador se decrementará en "1" por cada autorización
que se transfiera. Las claves de licencia y/o autorizaciones se instalarán en la unidad de
destino y tendrán efecto tras reiniciar WinCC flexible.
Las licencias también se pueden desplazar a la unidad de destino en la ventana
izquierda utilizando el método de arrastrar y soltar.

Introducción
En ciertas situaciones puede suceder que la instancia de WinCC flexible del servidor SQL
de Microsoft no se pueda seguir ejecutando. Una situación de error puede ocurrir p. ej. si se
desinstala una instancia diferente del servidor SQL de Microsoft o si no se cumplen los
requisitos de instalación. Si la instalación es defectuosa, al crear proyectos en WinCC
flexible se visualizan avisos al respecto. Si no aparecen avisos significa que la instalación es
correcta.
Este problema se corrige en 3 pasos, a saber:
• Desinstalar la instancia de WinCC flexible del servidor SQL de Microsoft.

gestionan en una plataforma conjunta. El Administrador SIMATIC de STEP 7 constituye

integración en STEP 7 sólo se ofrecerá en calidad de opción si STEP 7 ya está instalado.
Integración de WinCC flexible en SIMOTION:
Los componentes de visualización SIMATIC y los componentes de automatización
SIMOTION se configuran y se gestionan en la plataforma central SIMOTION SCOUT. A
este respecto, los procesos de configuración se automatizan parcialmente. La
integración en SIMOTION sólo se ofrecerá en calidad de opción si SIMOTION ya está
instalado.
Soporte de CBA**):
Los componentes CBA permiten crear módulos tecnológicos encapsulados con
funcionalidad definida conforme a la especificación PROFINET.
• Migración*) Los datos de un proyecto ProTool o WinCC existente se convierten a WinCC
flexible.

1.2.2 Instalar y desinstalar componentes a posteriori
Introducción
Los componentes de WinCC flexible Engineering System, p. ej. Migration, se pueden
instalar y desinstalar a posteriori. Esto es aplicable también a los idiomas del producto.
Si se ha instalado el Service Pack 1 de WinCC flexible 2005 y a continuación se realizan
cambios, se desintalan componentes o bien se repara la instalación, será necesario
reinstalar el Service Pack 1. En caso de haber reinstalado los componentes desde el CD de
la versión completa de WinCC flexible 2005 SP1, no se requerirá instalar de nuevo el
Service Pack 1.
Requisito
• Los requisitos son idénticos a los descritos en el apartado "Requisitos del sistema".
• WinCC flexible deberá estar instalado.

Vigile que esté instalado al menos el Service Pack 1 de Microsoft Internet Explorer,
versión 6.0. De lo contrario, se interrumpirá la instalación de WinCC flexible con un aviso
de error.
Obtendrá el Microsoft Internet Explorer Version 6.0 o el Service Pack 1 en la página web
de Microsoft "http://www.Microsoft.com".
Si la instalación básica se ha efectuado a través de una unidad de la red, la instalación
de componentes a posteriori deberá efectuarse a través de esa misma unidad. En este
caso, los componentes no se podrán instalar posteriormente desde el CD del producto.
Procedimiento
1. Cierre todas las aplicaciones que se estén ejecutando, en particular, WinCC flexible
Engineering System y WinCC flexible Runtime.
2. Inserte el CD del producto de WinCC flexible en la unidad de CD-ROM.
3. Si el sistema no arranca automáticamente, haga doble clic en el archivo "setup.exe" del
CD-ROM. Aparecerá el asistente InstallShield de WinCC flexible.
4. Active la opción "Modificar programa".
5. Haga clic en el botón "Siguiente".
6. El cuadro de diálogo siguiente muestra los componentes de WinCC flexible.

7. Haga clic en los componentes que desea modificar.

Si una licencia no está instalada todavía en el panel de operador, WinCC flexible Runtime
se ejecutará en modo de demostración.

Las opciones pueden comprarse en cualquier momento e instalar su correspondiente

Introducción

elementos potentes. A este efecto, un "power pack" contiene una licencia especial para
habilitar el uso de un nivel superior de WinCC flexible.

Por ejemplo, si posee WinCC flexible Compact, el power pack "SIMATIC WinCC flexible
2005 Standard, Powerpack for WinCC flexible Compact" le permitirá habilitar el uso de
WinCC flexible Standard.

Runtime
Por ejemplo, si posee WinCC flexible Runtime con 128 variables, el power pack "SIMATIC
WinCC flexible 2005 Runtime, Powerpack 128 to 512 PowerTags" le permitirá habilitar el
uso de WinCC flexible Runtime con 512 variables.
Nota
Es posible comprar un "power pack" en todo momento e instalar su correspondiente licencia
a posteriori.

1.2.6 Instalar un "power pack"
Introducción
Para instalar un "power pack", instale la clave de licencia correspondiente. La clave de
licencia del "power pack" sustituye la clave de licencia de una instalación existente. Para
instalar un "power pack" de WinCC flexible Runtime con una mayor cantidad de variables,
basta con instalar la clave de licencia correspondiente. Para actualizar el software
Engineering System a una edición superior, será preciso desinstalar WinCC flexible e
instalarlo luego de nuevo.
Nota
Cada "power pack" se instala una sola vez. El "power pack" no se puede desinstalar.
Requisito
• La licencia para la que ha adquirido un "power pack" deberá estar instalada.

Vigile que esté instalado al menos el Service Pack 1 de Microsoft Internet Explorer,

1.3.1 Claves de licencia y autorizaciones
Introducción
Con la compra de un paquete de software se adquiere una licencia específica de uso con la
correspondiente clave de licencia. Al instalarse una licencia se transfiere una clave de
licencia o una autorización al disco duro, o bien a un panel de operador. Dicha clave habilita
el uso de una determinada parte del software.
En vez de las autorizaciones empleadas hasta ahora, a partir de WinCC flexible 2005 se
utilizan las nuevas claves de licencia. En numerosos casos es posible seguir utilizando las
autorizaciones para las opciones y los "power packs" de WinCC flexible Runtime. En
comparación con las autorizaciones, las claves de licencia ofrecen mayor confort de manejo
y numerosas funciones nuevas.
Nota
Si desea actualizar un sistema existente puede adquirir un disquete con licencias de
actualización. Al realizar la actualización, las autorizaciones existentes son reemplazadas
por las claves de licencia correspondientes.
Precaución
Al actualizar de una autorización a una clave de licencia, se destruye la autorización y se
crea una clave de licencia. Este proceso es irreversible. La clave de licencia creada no se
puede seguir utilizando para licenciar las versiones anteriores de WinCC flexible.
Licencias para el Engineering System

A partir de WinCC flexible 2005, las nuevas claves de licencia se requieren para licenciar el
software. Las claves de licencia y las autorizaciones se gestionan mediante el Automation
License Manager.
Si inicia WinCC flexible sin disponer de una licencia válida, el sistema emitirá avisos
indicando que el software se está ejecutando en modo de demostración. Existe la
posibilidad de activar una licencia de prueba una sola vez. La licencia de prueba caduca al
cabo de 14 días.
Una vez caducada la licencia de prueba, se distingue entre dos casos:
• En el equipo en cuestión no se había instalado nunca antes una licencia principal
– WinCC flexible ya no se podrá iniciar.
• En el equipo en cuestión ya se había instalado una licencia principal
– WinCC flexible se podrá iniciar, pero el sistema emitirá avisos en intervalos breves,
indicando que el software se está ejecutando en modo de demostración.

Actualizar el Engineering System

Si ya dispone de una autorización para WinCC flexible 2004 ES, podrá adquirir una licencia
de actualización a WinCC flexible 2005 ES. Al realizar la actualización, la autorización
existente es reemplazada por la clave de licencia correspondiente.
Precaución
Al actualizar de una autorización a una clave de licencia, se destruye la autorización y se
crea una clave de licencia. Este proceso es irreversible. La clave de licencia creada no se
puede seguir utilizando para licenciar las versiones anteriores de WinCC flexible.
Licencias para Runtime

A partir de WinCC flexible 2005, las nuevas claves de licencia se requieren para licenciar el
software. Las autorizaciones de runtime de WinCC flexible 2004 siguen funcionando,
pudiéndose utilizar durante la actualización a WinCC flexible 2005. El certificado de licencia
de WinCC flexible 2004 Runtime no da derecho a utilizar WinCC flexible 2005 Runtime.
Para licenciar WinCC flexible 2005 Runtime se requiere la nueva licencia correspondiente.
En los paneles de operador dotados con una versión del sistema operativo para
WinCC flexible 2004 sólo se pueden utilizar autorizaciones. En los paneles de operador
dotados con una versión del sistema operativo para WinCC flexible 2005 sólo se pueden
utilizar tanto claves de licencia como autorizaciones.
La gestión de las claves de licencia y de las autorizaciones depende del equipo de destino
en cuestión. Es preciso distinguir entre los paneles de operador basados y no basados en
PCs.
Licencias en paneles de operador basados en PCs

En los paneles de operador basados en PCs, las claves de licencia y las autorizaciones se
gestionan mediante el Automation License Manager.
Licencias en paneles de operador no basados en PCs

En los paneles de operador no basados en PCs, las claves de licencia se gestionan
mediante el Automation License Manager. El Automation License Manager necesita un
PlugIn en los paneles de operador no basados en PC. El PlugIn se instala junto con la
versión actual de WinCC flexible. El PlugIn también se instala junto con ProSave a partir de
la versión V7.2.
Las autorizaciones antiguas existentes en los paneles de operador no basados en PCs se
gestionan mediante ProSave.
Para los paneles de operados soportados apenas a partir de WinCC flexible 2005 sólo se
dispone de claves de licencia. Su gestión se efectúa únicamente con el Automation License
Manager.
Licencia para Thin clients

Para el ThinClient se sigue utilizando la autorización existente. La autorización no se puede
transferir mediante el Automation License Manager. Para transferirla, utilice la función de
autorización de ProSave.

Tipos de licencia
El comportamiento del software depende del tipo de licencia utilizado. Para WinCC flexible
hay disponibles los siguientes tipos de licencia:

licencias. Si se adquiere la licencia en el servidor de licencias no es posible
elegir el tamaño de la licencia. La primera licencia libre es asignada al servidor
de licencias. Por ello, es necesario asegurar que el servidor de licencia disponga
de suficiente espacio para Floating Licenses de gran tamaño. Si el ordenador en
cuestión no recibe una licencia con el suficiente tamaño, cambiará al modo de
demostración
Si la Floating License se adquiere desde la red, deben tenerse en cuenta los
siguientes puntos:
El Automation License Manager debe instalarse en el servidor de licencias.
La Floating License sólo puede utilizarse en la configuración.
En WinCC flexible Runtime debe haber instalada en la unidad local dell
ordenador una licencia RT.
Tras interrumpirse la comunicación se cambia al cabo de tres horas al modo de
demostración.
La Floating License es identificada con "SIFL" y admite actualizaciones.
Upgrade Esta licencia permite cambiar un estado de sistema específico, p. ej.: WinCC flexible
License Cambio de una versión anterior a una versión reciente. WinCC flexible Runtime
Ampliación de la capacidad.

del manejo en los paneles de operador no basados en PCs.

Paneles de operador basados en PC

En los paneles de operador basados en PCs, una clave de licencia habilita el uso de un tipo
de software, p. ej. WinCC flexible Compact o WinCC flexible Runtime con 128 variables. En
la instalación estándar de WinCC flexible se instala también la clave de licencia.
Una clave de licencia habilita el uso de una opción.
Al instalar un "power pack" se borra la clave de licencia existente, p. ej. WinCC flexible
Compact, y se instala una clave de licencia para el nivel superior, p. ej. WinCC flexible
Standard. Ello es aplicable también si WinCC flexible Runtime se actualiza con un "power
pack" de 128 variables a 512 variables.
A excepción de la instalación estándar de WinCC flexible, las claves de licencia y/o las
autorizaciones se instalan por separado mediante el Automation License Manager.

Nota
Las licencias también se pueden transferir a través de la red desde un panel de operador
basado en PC a otro panel. En este caso no se necesita el disquete de claves de licencia.

Paneles de operador no basados en PC

Los paneles de operador no basados en PCs se equipan siempre con la cantidad máxima
posible de variables. Por esta razón no existen claves de licencia ni "power packs" para el
software de runtime.
Para las opciones de los paneles de operador no basados en PCs se han previsto claves de
licencia. Una clave de licencia habilita el uso de una opción. También es posible utilizar las
autorizaciones existentes de las opciones de WinCC flexible 2004.
Para licenciar el software con claves de licencia en paneles de operador no basados en
PCs, el programa de setup de WinCC flexible instala el "SIMATIC HMI License Manager
Panel Plugin" como complemento del Automation License Manager.
En los paneles de operador no basados en PCs, las autorizaciones se instalan con la
herramienta de servicio "ProSave".

Nota
Antes de comenzar a licenciar el software, asegúrese de que en el panel de operador esté
instalada la versión del sistema operativo suministrada con WinCC flexible 2005 (como
mínimo). De lo contrario, actualice el sistema operativo utilizando ProSave.

Para los nuevos paneles de operador configurables a partir de la versión de
WinCC flexible 2005 se dispone de nuevas claves de licencia. Las autorizaciones no se
pueden seguir utilizando en estos equipos. En la actualidad, ello es aplicable a los paneles
de la gama 177.
1.3.3 Gestionar claves de licencia y autorizaciones
Introducción
Una clave de licencia o una autorización se instala para poder utilizar
WinCC flexible Runtime, WinCC flexible Engineering System o una opción. Una clave de
licencia o una autorización se desinstala si es necesario crear una copia de seguridad de los
datos o si la licencia no se necesita más. Entonces podrá utilizar esa licencia en otro panel
de operador.
Toda licencia se suministra en un disquete de claves de licencia, o bien en un disquete de
autorización. Al instalar una licencia se quita del disquete la clave de licencia
correspondiente.
Si dispone todavía de autorizaciones, éstas también se pueden guardar en el disquete de
claves de licencia. Cuando instale una autorización sólo se decrementará el respectivo
contador en el disquete de claves de licencia. En el disquete se conservará un comodín que
puede volver a acoger dicha autorización.
Precaución
Para transferir las autorizaciones con ProSave se siguen necesitando los disquetes de
autorización originales.
Nota
No es posible copiar las claves de licencia ni las autorizaciones. El método de protección
anticopia impide que se copien los disquetes de claves de licencia y de autorizaciones.

Copia de seguridad
Para crear una copia de seguridad de los datos del panel de operador, o bien al cambiar de
equipo, desinstale las licencias en el panel de operador. A este efecto, la autorización de
paneles de operador no basados en PCs se puede retransferir con ProSave al disquete de
autorización. En cambio, una clave de licencia o una autorización de un panel de operador
basado en un PC se puede guardar con el Automation License Manager bien sea en un
disco duro, o bien en el disquete de claves de licencia.
Precaución
Los procesos de Backup/Restore destruyen las licencias instaladas en los paneles de
operador (exceptuando los paneles modernos de la gama 177). Antes de crear una copia de
seguridad de los datos, desinstale primero todas las licencias del panel de operador, o bien
exclúyalas de la copia. De este modo se evita que se sobrescriban las licencias al
restablecer los datos de la copia de seguridad.
Si utiliza en un panel de operador tanto autorizaciones como claves de licencia, verifique
con ProSave y el Automation License Manager que todas las licencias se hayan quitado del
panel antes de comenzar a crear la copia de seguridad de los datos.
Desinstale todas las licencias antes de formatear, comprimir y restaurar el disco duro,
arrancar un programa de optimización que desplace bloques fijos o instalar un nuevo
sistema operativo.
Sírvase leer la descripción del Automation License Manager (menú "Inicio ► Simatic ►
Documentación"). Tenga en cuenta todas las indicaciones y advertencias.
En los paneles de operador basados en PCs, así como al utilizar el Automation License
Manager en paneles no basados en PCs, todos los disquetes de claves de licencia son
aptos para varias licencias. Utilice los disquetes de claves de licencia para guardar en un
único disquete todas las licencias existentes en un panel de operador cuando cree una
copia de seguridad.
Precaución
Conserve en todo caso los disquetes originales de claves de licencia y/o de autorizaciones.

Licencia defectuosa
Una licencia se considerará defectuosa si ya no se puede acceder al disquete de claves de
licencia correspondiente, o bien si desaparece al transferirla a la unidad de disco de destino.
La licencia defectuosa se puede reparar con ayuda del Automation License Manager. Utilice
para ello la función "Restaurar", o bien el asistente del Automation License Manager para
restaurar claves de licencia. Para restaurar las licencias es preciso ponerse en contacto con
el A&D Customer Support.
Nota
El software runtime puede seguir funcionando sin fallos aunque la licencia falte o esté
defectuosa. En este caso se indicará que el software se está ejecutando en modo de
demostración.
Precaución
Si WinCC flexible Engineering System detecta que falta una licencia, el software permite
activar la licencia de prueba una sola vez. Si en el ordenador no se había instalado nunca
antes una clave de licencia "Single" ni "Floating", el software ya no se podrá iniciar más tras
finalizar el período de prueba. De lo contrario se indicará que el software se está ejecutando
en modo de demostración.

1.3.4 Automation License Manager
Introducción
El Automation License Manager permite instalar y desinstalar claves de licencia por
separado. Al instalar WinCC flexible se instala también automáticamente el Automation
License Manager..
Al instalar una clave de licencia por primera vez en un sistema basado en PC, el Automation
License Manager crea un directorio denominado "AX NF ZZ" en una unidad del disco duro.
A este directorio se le adjudican los atributos "Sistema" y "Oculto", siendo borrado
automáticamente al desinstalar la última clave de licencia.
Precaución
No modifique el nombre ni los atributos del directorio. De lo contrario, las claves de licencia
instaladas se perderán irrevocablemente.

1.4.1 Desinstalar WinCC flexible y sus componentes
Introducción
Con WinCC flexible se desinstalan también todos los componentes, mas no las licencias.
Si WinCC flexible 2005 está integrado en SIMATIC STEP 7 y/o SIMOTION SCOUT, la
desinstalación deberá efectuarse en el orden siguiente: desinstale primero WinCC flexible
2005 y luego SIMATIC STEP 7 y/o SIMOTION SCOUT.
Al desinstalar el software se borran también los diccionarios de usuario. Si aún necesita los
datos, copie los diccionarios de usuario antes de realizar la desinstalación.
1. En la carpeta "C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Datos de programa\Siemens AG",
busque el archivo "UserDictionary.dct".
2. Copie los archivos "UserDictionary.dct" y "UserDictionary_log.LDF".

WinCC flexible.
6. Active la opción "Quitar el programa" y haga clic en el botón de comando "Siguiente".
7. Confirme la desinstalación haciendo clic en "Aceptar". WinCC flexible se desinstalará del
equipo de configuración.
8. Concluya la desinstalación haciendo clic en el botón "Finalizar" en el cuadro de diálogo
siguiente.
Nota
Utilice el Panel de control para desinstalar WinCC flexible. Si desinstala WinCC flexible
mediante el archivo Setup.exe en el CD, deberá borrar manualmente el directorio de
instalación de WinCC flexible tras desinstalar el software.
1.4.2 Desinstalar las licencias y las opciones
Introducción
Tras desinstalar WinCC flexible, desinstale las licencias por separado utilizando el
Automation License Manager. Las licencias en el panel de operador se desinstalan con
ProSave o con el Automation License Manager, con objeto de almacenarlas.
Para desinstalar una opción por separado, deberá desinstalar la clave de licencia
correspondiente.
Requisito
• El disquete de claves de licencia no puede estar protegido contra escritura.
• La unidad de disco en la que se desinstalarán las licencias es de tipo local y no está
comprimida.
Precaución
Sírvase leer la descripción del Automation License Manager (menú "Inicio ► Simatic ►
Documentación"). Tenga en cuenta todas las indicaciones y advertencias.

Procedimiento
1. Salga de WinCC flexible Engineering System y WinCC flexible Runtime.

tipo de software, las opciones o los "power packs" y, en el menú contextual, elija el
comando "Transferir...". Se abrirá el cuadro de diálogo "Transferir clave de licencia".
6. En la lista desplegable, seleccione la disquetera como unidad de destino y confirme su
selección haciendo clic en "Aceptar". Las licencias seleccionadas se transferirán al
disquete de claves de licencia. En el caso de las autorizaciones, el contador se
incrementará en "1" por cada autorización transferida.
Las licencias también se pueden desplazar a la unidad de destino en la ventana
izquierda utilizando el método de arrastrar y soltar.
Nota
En caso necesario, una licencia desinstalada se puede utilizar en un panel de operador
diferente. Las licencias también se pueden transferir a través de la red desde un panel
de operador basado en PC a otro panel. En este caso no se necesita el disquete de

Procedimiento

Si el Automation License Manager no está instalado, o bien si la instalación está dañada,
aparecerá un aviso de error al iniciar WinCC flexible. El inicio de WinCC flexible se
cancelará. Desinstale y vuelva a instalar el Automation License Manager. El programa de
instalación se encuentra en el CD 2 de WinCC flexible bajo
"Automation License Manager\Setup".
2.2.2 Iniciar WinCC flexible
Introducción
Por lo general, WinCC flexible Runtime se inicia en el panel de operador. Sin embargo,

Una vez activada la licencia de prueba, el software se podrá utilizar durante 14 días. Si en el
PC no se había instalado nunca antes una licencia "Single" o "Floating", el Engineering
System no se podrá iniciar más al cabo de dicho plazo. De lo contrario, el software se podrá
seguir ejecutando en modo de demostración, en especial la opción "Administración de
Inicio
versiones". En intervalos de tiempo breves aparecerá un aviso indicando que el software se

está ejecutando en modo de demostración. Este aviso se debe acusar.
Runtime
WinCC flexible Runtime puede utilizarse sin limitaciones en modo de demostración. Las
opciones de runtime también pueden utilizarse sin licencia. Cada 10 minutos aparecerá un
aviso indicando que el software se está ejecutando en modo de demostración. Este aviso se
debe acusar. Para utilizar una opción de runtime sin que aparezca continuamente un aviso

Introducción

Installation guide
The IJG distribution formerly included code to read and write GIF files.
To avoid entanglement with the Unisys LZW patent, GIF reading support has
been removed altogether, and the GIF writer has been simplified to produce
"uncompressed GIFs". This technique does not use the LZW algorithm; the
resulting GIF files are larger than usual, but are readable by all standard
GIF decoders.

Licencias y claves de licencia

Con la compra de un paquete de software se adquiere una licencia específica de uso con la
correspondiente clave de licencia. Al instalar la clave de licencia se habilita el uso de un
software determinado, p. ej. WinCC flexible Compact.
Para los tipos de software Engineering System y Runtime, así como para cada opción y
cada "power pack" existe una clave de licencia propia contenida en un disquete por
separado. WinCC flexible Micro constituye una excepción a este respecto, puesto que no
requiere una clave de licencia.
Atención
Si falta la licencia, WinCC flexible se ejecutará en modo de demostración.
