Birds give alarm call by making different sounds for different kinds of dangers. For example, there is a different warning call if enemy is coming from the sky or if the enemy is on the ground. 5. They kill them for their skin, tusk, bones, teeth and horn etc. 8. What is the reason for decreasing number of some animals? What steps are being taken to protect these animals? A8. The reason for the decreasing number of some animals is hunting and poaching. The animals are hunted on a large scale for their skin, bones, teeth etc. To protect these animals, the government has made forests as protected areas.
