Abstract
In the previous lab could analize the behavior of some fluids based on their properties,
this casecapillarity. capillarity known as the property of liquids that depends on its
surface tension (which in turndepends on the cohesion or intermolecular force of the
liquid) is why in the following report is todetermine the capillarity of the following
liquids: motor oil, glycerin, alcohol, oil and chlorine. This laboratory was conducted
following guidelines with which it was possible to assess the effectiveness of the
experiment is given that when a liquid rises in a capillary tube, is due to the
intermolecular forces bet'een the molecules is less than the accession of the liquid.
That’s why we proceeded to chec& whether the theoretical capillarity is through an
experience that implements tubes for test liquid called capillaries, this experiment seeks
to build on submerging the tubes and observe that both raises the liquid throughthem
the capillary phenomenon and measure the capillary rise h, and so on with said liquid.
